Text field option

I want to add an option that allows users to enter text when they want to but a product (for custom mousemats etc), is there an easy way of doing this?

The easiest method is probably have them put their desires in the "comments" box that is already available at checkout time. That's assuming the font colors/face etc stays the same.

If that's not a feasible option - you may have to hard code / integrate another field into your cart.
