Guest craigwalker Posted July 21, 2005 Share Posted July 21, 2005 After having a bit of a nightmare trying to enable both shipping by weight and royal mail shipping (which seems to cancel each other out on some weights) I’ve noticed that if you change the quantity of the items in your cart and it up's the shipping weight over the originally calculated shipping cost the shipping cost its self doesn’t alter unless you update the cart twice... E.G. add one item to cart, say it ways .5kg in weight and costs £2.50 for up to .5kg in your shipping rates then in the cart change the item amount to 100 so the shipping weight is now 50kg and the customer will still only get charged for .5kg of shipping @ £2.50.. At the moment it makes the cart pretty un-useable at the moment if you calculate the shipping cost by weight.. lets hope this one gets sorted fast! be nice if the royal mail vs shipping by weight problems get sorted too.
