  1. Hello, has anyone ever received this error message and or how to fix. I've checked the shipping weights and everything appears to be fine. This is also a city in within the US. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    The following errors were detected:

Unfortunately there are no suitable shipping methods available for your order. This may be because the total weight of your order is too high or we cannot ship to your country. Please contact a member of our staff for any further inquiries.

  2. Well Dirty Butter....you nailed this one...LOL! Thanks again.  Do you know anything about the Tools Integrator Notice? I finally have everything together, then I get this email about updates on the 26th. Is there anything that I will need to change? How will this affect what I already have set-up? I'm so not into this computer stuff....

    Thanks,

  3. Hello Dirty Butter, thank you for the help. It helped out a great deal and I've just about fixed the issues. I'm still having the follow issues:

*I marked packages as Non-machinable to keep postcard an letter prices from showing (which are showing as $.50), but they are still showing  up along with first class parcel and standard post. Since they are such small items, I rather lose a little on shipping than to charge my customers $5 dollars for shipping when the item only cost is $5 (weighs  one ounce or less).

*I also have one item which does not require shipping, it's a rewards program. I've gotten it down to only charging $.50 for shipping but how can I eliminate shipping all together?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks a bunch!

  4. Hello, I need a bit of help.  I’m setting up shipping charges in my CC5. I’m shipping in the US only right now. After setting up the shipping rate for my products, I’m noticing that my smaller items (i.e. small lip balm) that weigh one once or less will charge $5.50.  I can’t seem to get the cost down. The cost for such a small item would not cost that much to ship (verified through USPS.com).  Also, is there a way to exclude shipping from a particular item all together, but still have the other assigned shipping methods apply? My goal is to obtain the most accurate shipping charges so I’d like to use USPS shipping method, if possible.

Shipping is currently set up in my cart as follows:

    Shipping Methods - USPS

Packaging Weight -  1 (which can’t be adjusted for each product, or can it?)

    Handling Fee -  $.50

    Package size – Regular

    Container – Variable/Unknown

Size – set as 5x5x5 (even when changed to a smaller package size the price isn’t adjusted. I have several products and the weight and packaging size will differ for each item. How can this be adjusted?)

Domestic Service – First Class, Parcel Post

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  5. I tried a  test run with one of my products and I'm getting an error message during check out saying "no suitable shipping methods available for your order...."

My actions in the admin section:

    *Clicked on Modules

    *Shipping

    *Picked USPS

    *Enabled the status

*Entered my USPS username (this is the same username used to print out my online USPS labels)

    *Entered my zip code

*Entered the packaging weight (I entered 1 for 1lb because I wasn't sure what format was needed to enter 8oz)

    *Entered handling fee information

*Selected Regular for the package size

    *Container - Variable/Unknown

*Machineable - left disabled (my items can't be sorted by machine)

    Domestic Services

*Enabled - First Class and Priority Mail

    -----------------------------------------------------

I picked one of my products (I only used one just to test everything out)

    Status - Enabled

    Manufacturer - None

    Conditon - New

    Product Code - entered

Product Weight - entered 1 (for test purposes only) for 1lb, because I wasn't sure what format would be used to enter the actual weight of 9 1/8.

I tried to run a test in my shop and that's when I received the error message.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  6. That would be a great start, I didn't see that there. I guess I was so busy stressing over actually setting it up that I missed the obvious. I'll start hammering away at this and if I have any questions, I check back.

    Thanks a bunch!

  7. Hello All, I’m new to CC5 and need help setting up my shipping modules. I make natural bath and body products and my items weigh anywhere from 1 oz - 4 pounds (without packaging and peanuts). I’m a previous CC3 owner and my shipping charges were previously set up by the programmer.

I would like to now utilize the USPS shipping module in order to ensure more accurate shipping cost for my customers. I currently only ship within the US, but If I could get it to work for Canada I would consider that as well. Nevertheless, for now any help for the US would be great. Would anyone be willing to provide step by step instructions or screens shots on how to set this up? I know this is a lot to ask, but I’m having no luck on setting up my shipping….I suck at this type of stuff.  I’m figuring with the screen shots and explanations, after weighting my products in the actual shipping packaging I could input this information correctly.

    Thanks a million,
