    Hi,

    Does any one know if CubeCart 5 (5.2.12) has fully support for ecommerce tracking in Google Analytics as standard?

    I know its got the Google Analytics option but it does not make it clear if it is full ecommerce tracking or just visitor tracking.

    PayPal Pro Error

    Hi,

    I have a very odd intermittent PayPal Pro error on a site I am working on.

    It only happens every so often however it is often enough to cause me concern about putting the site live until fixed.

    The issue is that when they select the Express Checkout option it takes them direct to the CubeCart select payment option screen here:

    index.php?_a=gateway&module=PayPal_Pro

    When it goes there it has a query sting value of &module=PayPal_Pro this URL is usually just /index.php?_a=gateway

    It should take them to PayPal for login as I understand it and not to this page.

     

    I have been using CC for many years and never had this issue before.

    Any ideas?

    How can I tell if my store needs to be PCI certified?

    Certification is only required if your store transmits or stores credit card data. Most of the payment modules in CubeCart are hosted by PCi-DSS certified institutions already which takes this liability away from the merchant but not all of them. For a list please visit our modules page. If you are unsure please contact a member of our staff listing the payment methods that you currently have enabled and they will let you know if it is required or not.

    Detailed information can be found on the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council website.

    I think it is also worth saying here that if you use a Virtual Terminal to take payments over the phone you should also be PCI compliant.

    HSBC CPI - Can it work with CC3

    Hi,

    I am getting myself confused with HSBC CPI

    I have a client who wants to use HSBC as there payment gateway, my problem is i have never used HSBC before in any way and until today had not been never been on there epayments website.

    After looking at there site i found this:

    1. Card Payment Interface (CPI) – where orders are taken on your website, but your customer will enter their card payments details on our website.

    The CPI to me seems to be the best option as i don't want to have to worry about being PCI DSS compliant. However i cant seem to find a CPI gateway so im guessing there is a reason for this?

    2. Application Programmable Interface (API) – where orders and card payments details are completed on your website.

    From what i can see there seems to be a few people using this option however are they all compliant with PCI DSS, if so are they all on dedicated servers as i understand shared hosting would fail PCI DSS checks.

    I am looking for the cheapest way to integrate HSBC in to CC3, i think my client went with HSBC over others because of there transaction fees however if this now means using API and a dedicated server because of this that may have been the wrong choice.

    If some one has any info on this i don't mind looking at making a CPI integration module however as i said the fact there is not one must mean something...?

    Upload Images - Problem

    Hi,

    Hope some one can help.

    I have Cube Cart 4.3.7, when i go to add an image to a product i cant click on the image to add it as there is no link. (See Screenshot)

    It will upload images fine and they show up in the folders etc.. and you can click on the folders to view images in them but no image link?

    Any ideas?

    that truly is odd Id put i a ticket about this seeing how it for 4.3.7

    Hi, thanks i think i will its a funny problem i have many CC4 sites never seen this before.

    To try fix it i just downloaded cc4.3.7 again and copied the admin folder over still no look.

    I also trided copying the admin folder for 4.3.6 to still no look i have also tried making it look at a DB of an old store which the img link works on STILL NOT LOOK !!!

    Ill put a ticket in but in the mean time any one elce any ideas???

    New .tpl File,

    Hi,

    I am currently making a skin for my store, i want to use some JavaScript on my FAQ page, however when i put the code in the text editor in the admin area and then update changes it displays the info but the javascript aint there its as if i cant find the JavaScript file or it cant read the JavaScript that has been put in.

    There for i was going to just make the page as a new .tpl file and upload it to "styleTemplates/content/" the problem is how do i then link to this page in the "styleTemplates/content/" folder and get it to display in the correct place ie in the {PAGE_CONTENT} . The link to say "login" for example is

    "http://bookworm-direct.co.uk/index.php?_a=login&redir=%2Findex.php"

    I no this link relates to the styleTemplates/content/login.tpl

    But how do i add my own and then link to it?

    Any idiea,
