backlinks are terribly important as is the relevency of the site that links to you. Try to get pages that link to you that have a PR 5 or higher. Page content is another very important tool and how your keywords are included in that content. It's also a good idea to change your content on a regular basis. Googlebots love text (that's all they read) so make sure all of your images have 'alt' tags as well. Another good trick is to write articles on your chosen subject and submit them to sites relevent to yours. Make sure you include your site's url. Submit your site to directories...lot's of them. Make a Google site map and submit it. I have been making them for other's sites and it is very eefective. While there is no guarantee of success these things can help.

You mean you want to change colors in your theme? You have to do that in your skins/yourskin/styleImages/backgrounds folder and use an image editor to edit the images.

Why not make another category which will give you another tab or link depending on what skin you use. Link that tab or link to your html home page and call it whatever you want. It would put a 'next' button in view products so that when you view a product in a category you can move to the next product without going back to category list.

We had this in v 2.06 can we have one for v 3? It would show in view products.

The header is located in your skins directory/your skin/styleTemplates/index.tpl it is also controlled in the styleSheets directory/layout.css

You would need to change global.inc if you change the directory of your cart, database names, password or user. Adding products or categories and most other mods do not require editing this file.

I'm not sure why you added to global.inc.php. Would it not be better to add #SHELLHEAD & #SHELLFOOT attributes to layout.css.

I don't know how you'd do this but I would like to see more of the header and less of the nav bar. That Killer nav bar really detracts from the site IMHO and your header is probably very pretty although I can't say for sure because I can't see that much of it. Underwater images are so pretty I'd like to see a rotating header or banner with more images. Also change the titles of the boxes to something less cubecart-ish like instead of 'Featured Product' something like Latest in Underwater Life, you get the idea. Best of luck.

This has been addressed before. Do some searches and you'll find it. For the tax, go to your admin control panel and turn tax to 'No' the switch is backwards.
