Ok, I've found the cause. But it will break the layout.... hmmm
-
What have you narrowed it down to?I've been trying that for the last five hours! I'm going to have to come back to it tomorrow with fresh eyes! -
It shifts to the right for me in FF and IE6.
Check you have an equal number of opening DIVs as closing DIVs, which I do think you have but easier to check on the template. There is definately something not quite right, but tracking it down will be the tough one. Try eliminating things to see if it makes a difference to the behavour of the footer text.

This is v3 not v2. Shouldn't this be moved to the v3 forums?

Please visit CubeCart.org for third party products and services.

CubeCart is not 'open source' software, it is commercial software. You can however edit the source code.
The biggest benefits to CubeCart over the others is the ease of skinning, and the ease of managing an online shop. The others are just over complicated, and difficult to make a really unique store design.
Most small businesses do not have the technical knowhow (or confidence) to use the likes of Zen, where as CubeCart is as easy as it gets.

To resize the auto-generated thumbnails, you'll need to change the size setting in Admin, and then delete the images in 'images/uploads/thumbs'. I can't remember if there was a modification to when the thumbs get re-generated, but if they are not re-generated automatically you'll need to reselect each image in each product.
You could change the latout of the text, price and buttons to fix the right column issue. The table could be modified to put the text along the top of each row and the buttons and price below it.

There is an editor upgrade available on .org. Easy to install... just upload.

If you're referring to the path of the images from within the skin template files, they are referenced as from the root of the store where index.php is located.
-
It has not found (or indexed) the other sites that have linked to you yet.

Do you have the Google toolbar installed in your browser with the yellow text fields?
They can change the boxes to yellow to indicate an autofill feature of the toolbar.

There is a changelog with the full download. Is there are step by step document showing the actual changes available for this update rather than just the finished files as I have modified a couple of them. Thanks

Paula and Mark.... a very Happy Birthday to you. Sorry i'm a day late, didn't realise! :(

Congrats! Happy New Year! :(

Edit 'skins/skin_name/styleTemplates/content/viewCat.tpl'.
-
There are some very noticable differences between IE6 and FireFox.
The site is too wide for the lower resolutions screens (or windowed browsers).
The CubeCart copyright footer is almost unreadable.
Otherwise, nice.

Thanks.
Have you applied any product mods, or discount mods etc? Anything that requires editing 'includes/content/viewCat.inc.php' or 'skins/religion/styleTemplates/content/viewCat.tpl'?
-
Without a link to your store, I have no idea!
-
It's CHMOD settings you are referring to.
When you change the permissions on the file, do they remain or are the changes ignored? If you cannot change the permissions on the home.inc.php, you may have a permissions restriction on the hosting server. If this is the case, you may need to contact your hosting provider.

Good advice from AlanT.
@gamesandmore. Please supply a link to the site.

Hello. Thank you for posting the mod, however you will need to post it on CubeCart.org as this forum does not permit third-party mods.

In Admin... go to 'Email Customers' > 'Send email'. You will see the link there which you can add to your newsletters to unsubscribe.
It's basically... 'www.yourdomain.com/index.php?act=unsubscribe'

This is a third party skin issue. You should contact the skin author or visit .org.

You have so much styling inside the HTML, it is very difficult to debug.
But if you add <br clear="all"/> just after the last DIV in the global template, this should fix it I think.
