Would be even better if the site and the shop blended together seamlessly.

LOL!I just revisited and see that you've completely changed the page, so I guess I'll just stop now.

Ah I see your problem. Hmm... I'm sure I've seen another post regarding this before.
Some more info here. Looks like you'll need a mod. Maybe this can be a feature in a future release?

Is there a link to your store to have a look?Just seen this thead during a search and noticed that if i put one of my cube cart stores in the spider ( http://www.webconfs.com/search-engine-spider-simulator.php ) then it doesnt index the product pages.Ive got the seo mod installed, and this ius obviously going to cause problems.
Any ideas?
Cheers Tim
The page you put into this simulator is the page that is tested. No other pages are crawled.

Standard template, still with original CubeCart logo. To spice it up, I'd suggest your own personalised template ;)www.PBMansion.comneed feedback from you guys on
how to make the site more spicy looking
and
anything else to make it look more profesional

Brooky from what i can gather you ad 17.5% to all the 25 EU countries and nothing to anything outside of them in simple terms, but i think i read there is a diffrent rule for digital products somewhere...
I've had a headache with VAT as well. Here's the thread.
Digital products are interpretted as services at point of use. Therefore the customers tax rate applies, however you must find out whether the use is for consumers (tax does not apply) or business (tax does apply, at their countries' rate). UK VAT applied to Europe for both consumer and business I believe.
With tangible goods, the point of sale is the country in which the shop is based. In which case in Europe UK VAT applied. With regards to outside of Europe, I believe VAT is not applicable unless it's over a certain amount, in which case the business would have to register for that countries tax system and charge their tax rate.
I researched digital products more than tangible, but I am no expert on either. Brooky, try calling HM Revenue and Customs.

I agree with all the replies thus far... needs more customisation. Make the design your own, rather than small colour changes here and there to the shipped template. And your own logo ;)

Looks like an empty site, so probably best to wipe it and start again with the latest production build, which is 3.0.8.As its a new store try upgrading to 3.0.8
Upgrading or should I just try to re-install the hole thing, this time the 3.08 version?
However you *may* have the same problems. The 'open_basedir restriction' could be a missed setting with your provider. Have look at phpinfo within admin for 'open_basedir'.

Thanks Brooky.
Edit: Yay! fixed!

can't find the download link for cubecart 3.08
is there anyone know what is the link for that?
Try the link at the top of the page.

I'm so glad it's not just me. Sorry martino :w00t:Hiya, I've just upgraded to 3.0.8 from 3.0.6. However my category links have gone wierd.
Every link returns the results of a search, and those links with subcategories, the search results appear below.
Anyone else had this?
Here's an example.
I have just upgraded 4 stores from 3.0.7.pl1 to 3.0.8 and they are all displaying the above behaviour also.
A fix for this would be greatly appreciated!

I would, however where? ...'members' are not allowed to advertise their CC related stores. And please, feel free to setup and post your skins over on .org. We always welcome new blood. -
Not according to the rules from what I can make out.Why not make a post on the .org forum for your skins its allowed in there. Is my current sig allowed? It's kind of half way between I guess.

I have now made variations of this skin available for purchase. There is even a customisable version in which you can use your own background images.
In accordance with the new rules, please PM me for more information.

Where's the store?
I see a really big (too big) front page, but no link to the store.
I notice you don't actually have the background set as blank, only a table. So the white border is a little naff to coin a phrase.
I'm sure you can find a better free HTML generator than Excel.
Still not found the store though.

Looks very nice.
I'd suggest changing the colours of the alternate product background colours on the product list pages. The shades of blue doesn't really go with the green and brown patterned theme.
I really like the coffee bean picture in the basket side box... nice touch. :D
another one rolls off
