  1. Hi,

I just have had to upgrade my Cube Cart and now I'm getting an error after the admin log in page.

    Version: 3.0.20

    here is the error text:

    MySQL Error Occured
1054: Unknown column 'failLevel' in 'where clause'

    QUERY = SELECT adminId FROM CubeCart_admin_users WHERE username = 'admin' AND password = 'caeccbc3c46c9424dad44f1619303df7' AND failLevel < 5 AND blockTime < 1377450885

     Help!

    Thanks in advance.

    Tim

Sorry... I'm seeing that this area is for v5 support.

    Where do I post this?

  2. This site is for core product support. Mods can be requested/found at cubecartforums.org.

My mistake, I guess. The forum title is General Discussion - Discuss anything you want...

So the impression is given that all CC related topics could be discussed.

Also, a question was presented regarding a possible inclusion of the function, into version 4.

I had also done some digging at cubecartforums.org and the couldn't find the mod there.

There is a mod in the works there for processing eBay sales through CC.

It's the only related mod I could find.

Seems like it would be a good function to include.

    Peace,

    Tim

  3. After about a week, 54 views but no response to the inquiry.

Zen Cart also has this export to eBay mod available for their cart.

Still wondering if CC plans to build an export feature for the cart.

I know that the client would definitely upgrade to version 4 if the feature was available.

    Any response is appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Tim

  4. Hi,

My client would like me to find out if there is a mod that will allow export to eBay product listings.

This mod would offer the export option when a product is being added to the CubeCart store.

The client hopes to avoid the need to make duplicate entries for each site store.

If the mod also includes the ability to export existing CubeCart store items to eBay... More excellent!

The client has really been hounding me.

FYI - There is a cart (Shop Site) - that I don't care for - that has the eBay export function.

There are over 700 products in the CC store and I really can't imagine changing over to another cart.

    Thanks in advance.

  5. I fixed this for DreamHost by using curl instead of fopen in the UPS module. I'm not really a programmer, but so far this seems to work. See the attached file - replace your /modules/shipping/UPS/ups.php file with this one and it should work on DreamHost.

Thanks BIG Bunches for that cURL code! Problem solved!

    Peace ~Tim

  6. Hello,

2 Months ago my webhost disallowed the remote file call (or something like that) using the fopen command.

This throws my UPS module into a error loop.

I had this issue in version 3 and fixed it using a curl work around someone created here. I just uploaded the UPS.php that they posted and the problem was fixed.

    Thanks

I need to get the curl fix ... the ups.php fix that is mentioned above. Where can we find it please?

    Thank you

  7. Yeah... I've got the same thing happening at checkout when it gets to the calculating shipping (UPS) ... My server people are iPower... and they won't enable the fopen permission anymore because of security issue. CRAP! I've got 938 items in my store and the store won't function...

Sooo... the techie at iPower said something about "CURL". I'm just beginning to investigate Curl.... but ummm hey SUPPORT?... we definitely need some kind of fix here! HELP PLEASE!

    Thanks ~Tim

  8. There's some wacky stuff going on here.

    I just installed CC 3.0.15

When I try to login to the admin area, I enter the username and password, click "login" and the admin loginpage comes up again. I repeat the login process and get redirected to http://www.apple.com/itunes, when I click "login".

I clicked "back" on my browser and got back to the login page. I then decided to investigate a bit. I stripped off some of the URL from the browser window and went to the my http://mysite???.com/store/admin (ficticious dot com of course)

Sure enough, I was logged in. :)

BUT... there was a second login page inside of the main admin page. (Weird)

When I try to navigate around the admin area I can get into some areas but cannot access other areas. Example... I can "View Products" but get redirected back to the admin login page when I click "Add Product".

As is, the store is useless.

What the heck is going on????? :)

Anyone know how to correct this mess?

Thanks in advance for your help

    Tim

  9. Check here

Ya know... I'd read that recently but thought, "Nah... That can't be it." I'd been uloading files and updating to get to the most recent version of the cart. So I thought the file was being replaced each time an upgrade was performed. That'll teach me. Gotta always go back to Zen thought. When I think I know something... I know nothing.

    Schultz!!!

    Anyhow... the fix worked!

    Thanks for the assistance.

Now just need to figure out why I've updated to 3.0.8 and the admin interface still reads 3.0.7

    Peace

  10. I'd posted this as a follow-up to an installation question, in a different thread.

Just figured it's a different problem and so, needs a separate thread.

    Here goes....

I've found in (yet) another thread that there apparently isn't an upgrade script from 3.0.6 to 3.0.8

I ran the 3.0.5-3.0.6 upgrade script.

Now, in the shopping cart, when I attempt to view a product, I get the following error page text.

"Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/mydomain/etc_domain/store/includes/content/viewProd.inc.php on line 34"

    How is this resolved?

    Thanks.

  12. Hi,

I downloaded CubeCart3.0.8 to my computer.

Removed files and folders, as instructed.

(backed up the old store files as instructed.)

Uploaded the new CubeCart3.0.8 files to the server.

    Went to the upgrade/scripts folder...

And there is no upgrade script.

The most recent upgrade script shown is 3.0.5-3.0.6

    What's the deal?

Thanks in advance for your kind assistance.

    -Tim
