Yes to your first question! lol (sorry - been out for dinner)
And yup - that's now working.
Muchos thanks,
Are you one of the developers?

Cheers again

Checked in all default skins, and it does exactly the same...

Just out of interest - do you have the 'Allow delivery to non-invoice address' ticked?? in 'Admin >> Store Settings >> Stock?

Hi Everyone!
I'm currently testing an upgrade from 4.4.4 to the latest version, the upgrade has went smoothly... however I just wanted to double check that this is happening to other people:
When a customer is placing an order, and they want to send to a new/different address
When the new address is added and they click 'save' button - it doesn't redirect back to the basket/cart again, they have to physically click the 'View basket' again to get back to it...
Is this happening to others?
I can see that the URL has a redirect in:
/index.php?_a=addressbook&action=add&redir=confirm
however - it doesn't seem to redirect.
It would be good to have a 'Go Back to Basket' button when the address is saved (see attached )... or indeed - fix the redirect??

I've just upgraded from 4.4.3 to the latest 5.1.4.... no issues with the upgrade itself.....
seo urls are also transferred from the old one once I injected them into the seo table, seems to work fine! (site's not live yet).

Possibly try upgrading via Firefox's beta channel to FF 16

Hi--
Does CC 4 support international characters? I've imported my catalog and noticed these characters don't render correctly. I see the instead of what needs to be there.
I've changed some of these in the database to the HTML equivalents (ie, ä), but that code shows up instead of the right character.
Ideas?
Is this £ signs $ , etc?
if it is - then go into your admin settings- currency - and change from to whatever needs to go there.
if not - I'm not sure!

One of the big selling points of CC4 is out-of-the-box integration with Google Checkout, yet the advertising fails to mention that it only works if you have an SSL cert (unless I missed the fine print somewhere?).
I thought maybe a third-party solution would have been developed that would work for me, but the two CC-GC mods at http://www.robix.nl/cubecart-4-x-mods/gateway/cat_6.html look like they both require SSL too.
I know the point of SSL is to protect customer data when transmitting from my site to Google, but then why is it that I can currently use GB Buy Now buttons and Paypal checkout without SSL on my site- wouldn't the same security issues apply?
Anyway, is it at all possible to offer Google Checkout as a payment option in my shopping cart without SSL? If so, does anyone know where to get such a mod? Or if I have to pay a programmer to do it, how much should I plan to have to spend?
Thanks much.
One of the pre-requisites from Google is that you have SSL enabled to use their Checkout - otherwise you can't, So I'm guessing whichever cart software you use you will still require a SSL.

I have had a similar issue. All settings where correct and it opened up secure pages just like stated in previous post. I just simply upgraded to the newest version of cubecart and it fixed it. It just worked after the upgrade.
I'm actually experiencing EXACTLY the same problem, I've contacted my hosts, and they have advised that it may well be a bug within Cubecart.
I currently run Cubecart 3 on one shop - and the SSL works fine, but when the new cubecart 4 (4.1.1 - cause we're still prior to php5) it's still on the same domain, and all the settings within admin are pretty much the same - just the store different, it seems to stop working for the SSL.
ie
https://www.example.com/store1
both work fine..
but
https://www.example.com/store2
doesn't work.
it puts it as:
http://www.example.com/store2example.com/?ccUser=
Any suggestions - apart from upgrading ('cause I can't at the mo)
Cheers folks,
Tax / vat query
in Technical Help
Posted
Hi everyone,
I'm looking at VAT to EU customers
and No Vat to Non EU customers.
All prices on UK websites must display/include VAT on product pages, therefore all my products include EU VAT ZONE tax
so I have 2 tax classes
EU VAT ZONE
and
NON-EU
If I want to ship to the US, and not charge VAT on the Goods, do you know how I can set this up?
When I put an order through for the US, at the tax setup with zero, it still includes the tax on the product....
eg - a £10.00 product to the US should cost them £8.33 (with vat taken off)
however it's showing £10.00 is the cost and it's like a tax free product...
How do I get around this?
Thanks in advance...
Craig
