Of course I'm a novice at this. Any help is appreciated! images/uploads/ 2777 0777 images/uploads/thumbs/ 2777 0777 includes/global.inc.php 2777 0777 What is that 2 and how do I make it a 0? I'm stuck with a message saying The config file could not be written. - I don't seem to have the file - have you got a config.php file in your public_html folder - I was just trying to find out as if I havern't I may have to start again.... Connect to the site via ftp and right click on the folder Go to properties and change the permisions (CHMOD) to whatever you wish. Hope this helps My FTP Client (FileZilla) can't change permissions to 0777. They are still 6777 and installation won't continue from step2. Why?
