Guest elmbrook
Can any of you relate what you have done regarding insurance for your online store? Do you have product liability coverage, general liability coverage, or Directors and Officers coverage? Insurance agents seems to think most of these are necessary. Maybe some in the forum have explored these issues for themselves. Thanks. Rich
roban
Directors and Officers is not needed but product liability for a vitamin store like mine definitely is.
Guest
It would really depend entirely on what you're selling. I sell digital products....software I've written. I say it's all "use at your own risk". I'm covered. But every situation could be different. I'd consult with your attorney, not your insurance man. The lawyer's job is to keep you safe. The insurance agent's job is to keep you safe too.....by SELLING you something. Keep the difference in mind. :D
