Guest ROC
OK, I just downloaded the latest version, and all was going groovy until I clicked the link to my admin homepage. It brought up the ever familiar Page cannot be displayed page. After about 45 mins of trying stuff and screaming at my PC to stop being such a little bitch, I realised that every time www.mysite.com/site/admin/ was typed it redirects to: www.mysite.com/admin/admin/login.php?goto=/site/admin/index.php which, of course, doesn't exist because there is no folder in admin called admin!! Can anyone help me on this? Sorry, just realised this should be in the Instalation & Upgrade help

Guest ROC
Cheers for moving it Update: It seems that if I romove the second admin from the url I can get to the login page. But once I try to login it does the same thing again and adds a second admin
Guest
Do you have the correct paths set in your global.inc file?
Guest estelle
Yeah sounds like you have an extraneous "/admin" in your path in global.inc.php
Guest ROC
I've checked that out and all is well. I can get to see the store, it's just admin I can't get to. Also should probably mention this is my first time using CubeCart Cheers Edit: I'm assuming you're on about the one in the includes folder? Guest estelle
Yep. Please post the last three or four lines of text from includes/global.inc.php so that we can check it for you.
Guest ROC
$glob['rootDir'] = 'D:\\Webspace\\republic-of-cannabania.com\\wwwroot\\v3'; $glob['rootRel'] = '/v3/'; $glob['storeURL'] = 'http://www.republic-of-cannabania.com/v3'; ?>
Guest estelle
Okay, I think i've seen this same problem before and it was something to do with the default file not being correctly set to index.php, or something like that. Let me just search for the thread...

Guest estelle
Well, I found one post here All i can think of is that you should talk to your hosting company to make absolutely sure that the root directory is correct...
Guest ROC
Tried doing what was recommended in that thread and changed $glob['rootDir'] = 'D:\\Webspace\\republic-of-cannabania.com\\wwwroot\\v3'; to $glob['rootDir'] = 'D:\\Webspace\\republic-of-cannabania.com\\wwwroot'; but it's still not playing ball. And the root is definately right. Cheers anyway estelle
Guest ROC
So can anyone help me? I decided to try CC because my OScommerce site was hacked recently, and completely ripped apart, so I'm hoping that this will be more secure. But I'm starting to lose hope, as I can't even access my admin
Guest ROC
So I'm assuming now that NO-ONE can help me and I should give up on CubeCart and try something else?
Guest
You need more experienced eyes looking into this directly. Contact Estelle with FTP info and such. I'll bet she can find the problem pretty quickly when she's looking at the actual install rather than reading info here 2nd hand. I know I find errors a lot better that way. ;)
Guest estelle
Sure. PM or email me FTP details and I'll see what I can do. Not sure if i can figure this out though ;)

Guest ssnitz1
I just had this happen to me after multiple installs I could not access the admin page. I was using Internet Explorer. It worked fine with Firefox.
