Guest moda1
I am sure this is very obvious solution but I can not find it. I am checking cubecart as a possible shopping cart. Everything seems easy to use but I can not figure out how you link your pages for example “buy now†button so when customer clicks it takes you to shopping cart. All my other shopping carts had a meta tag generator where you generate a html code for each product id and link it with for example buy button.. I appreciate some help. I am using the most current version.
Robsta
All the 'buy now' buttons are automatically managed by the system. All you need to do is add products in Admin.

Thank you for the reply. I added test products to cubecart. They work fine. What I don't understand is how in my web page where for example index.html page will have say test1 product and some info. When customer clicks this it usually takes you to shopping cart. How to do this. Funny enough everything else seems so easy even changings the look of the cart, I am stuck here so obvious may be you do not understand me. In recap - I can add products, images, custimize the cart but I do not undertsand how to link a product so it takes you to cart. Could you explain me the obvious. Robsta
From the left side menu? That is generated automatically. Create a product, place it in a category. The categories are listed in the left menu, and the products get listed when you browse to the relevant category. The actual template that creates the side menu can be found here... \skins\your_skin\styleTemplates\boxes\categories.tpl

I added many test products to cube cart. http://mychristiangiftideas.com/cube2/index.php could you please this site and see it. The reason I like to use cubecart I found it very easy to undestand????? Amazingly can not communicate my problem and find it anywhere. As you see cucecart has many cat. and test producst works fine. My question is using front page I will build this site I will have the product info there so customer will first visit http://mychristiangiftideas.com (is blank now), the will see some thing they like, they will click on the item and it will take them to shopping cart. So lets say I added Item 1 picture $20 buy know to my web page at that moment has nothing to do with cubecart, the customer will push the buy now botton which will have the link to the product id at cube cart and will go to http://mychristiangiftideas.com/cube2/index.php I don't know how else I can ask this question. Can you help?
Robsta
Do you mean just link to a specific product from somewhere else? Just select the product and copy the URL, then make it the target address from whereever you want the link. eg.. http://mychristiangiftideas.com/cube2/inde...rod&productId=5 On my site, the front page uses manually created HTML. Links to CC from other parts of the site are links made directly to the products.
