Guest xpmobile.com
Hi there, Try under \skins\yourskin\styleTemplates\global\index.TPL Hope this helps Also have a look at this post No this doesnt work. Anyway, to my knowledge ts not possible to call a cgi from within a template. The link you referenced is for a very basic javascript.....I would prefer to be able to use my method, as Its easier to add/remove banners.....once its setupof course! Can anyone advise if its possible to have a small inline frame just above the search box and to include a shtml page within that frame and if so how would I do it? Guest xpmobile.com
Hello, I'm really struggling with this. I've got lovely CPANEL which includes something called entropy banner. You have to include a simple (!) one line in whatever page you want the banners to appear. <!--#exec cmd="cgi-bin/entropybanner.cgi"--> Problem is that you cant (apparently) call a cgi function from a .tpl file. Can anyone knowledgeable help me. I know its not strictly a cubecart issue as such, but its something that would really help me and I would put a free cubecart banner on their if someone come up with code/solution :P

Guest aikdo
I would honestly recomend sticking to a PHP banner rotator, or at a minimum a javascript one as including CGI in a PHP file ins't technicaly correct...
Guest xpmobile.com
I would honestly recomend sticking to a PHP banner rotator, or at a minimum a javascript one as including CGI in a PHP file ins't technicaly correct... Well I have now inserted an iframe and tried to call the cgi script from a shtml page, but still this doesnt work and even when I open a new window and enter the address of the shtml page directly it doesnt work, so it looks like I will have to give up on cgi ! Its a shame as the thing I like about the cgi is that its so easy and quick to add/update banners etc. Is there a php script I can use for this....anything recommended by you?
