Guest Posted March 21, 2006 Share Posted March 21, 2006 I am using pay pal, and digital downloads, what happens if someone pays by check, will they still get the link to download the product even though the payment hasn't cleared yet? Guest gwizard Posted March 21, 2006 Share Posted March 21, 2006 I would suggest editing transfer.inc.php under PayPal module dir and setting $stateUpdate = FALSE That way you would have to manually set the order to Proccessing, but you will be safe from hack attempts and bad config from PayPal side. convict Posted March 23, 2006 Share Posted March 23, 2006 Use PayPal IPN and Order status remains in Pending status until check is cleared Every payment on PayPal has own payment identification and saves IPN URL wich is 'called' if payment is successful. Payments by check are cleared after 4-5 days.
