Guest Anna
Hello. I searched forums for this and I am clueless. My products will not add to the shopping cart and when I view my cart I get this error: Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /cart/includes/content/cart.inc.php on line 353. How can I fix my problems? I am new to this installing a shopping cart/store. Thank you. Also, my users can register but do not see register confirmation screen and can not log in. Any suggestions? Guest chantesse
We regularly get reports of customers not being able to add to basket. I think we are hearing about it more when customer wants to order a specialist item and is motivated to email or call us. Anyway yesterday I had a phone call from a customer reporting they could not add to basket. So I logged in as a test customer myself and tried adding an item to basket about one hour after that customer called. It showed one item there but total amount 0.00 ! Then when did View Basket I got this error: Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/sites/www.chantesse.co.uk/retail-online-shop/public_html/includes/content/cart.inc.php on line 346 Was not able to fix it until I had 1. deleted all cookies and 2. Logged out as a customer then tried guest mode. Another thing I noticed was that the store was responding slowly with bad pages appearing and disconnections - all Host issues as other web sites were working fine. I suspect that the cookie and or session got corrupted somehow due possibly to my Hosting service having temporary performance issues, and once broken only deleting the cookie and restarting a session could fix it. This sort of thing has been happening in perhaps 1 or 2 percent of our customer experiences. I don't expect an instant fix but some method of either diagnosing why this happens or a really user-friendly way of resetting the session would be welcome! The absolute heart & soul of Cubecart is the reliability of the Shopping cart. We need a sort of ECU (like you have in your car's engine management system) that will log such issues internally, pointing the way to A FIX!
