Here in Ontario Canada we have two separate taxes. We have GST (goods and services tax) 6% & PST (provincial sales tax) 8%. The only reference I found was to Estelle's Flexible Taxes mod, and it was for someone looking to combine that mod with another so they both worked together. ==late edit== I tried googling it, and found the home page for Estelle's Flexible Taxes mod, it looks like it does what I need.
