Terry V Posted September 19, 2006 Share Posted September 19, 2006 I plan on using Paypal Pro at least to start out with my new site on cubecart and was wondering if they took care of all the security stuff or if I still needed an SSL certificate? I'm having problems getting the SSL certificate working properly at the moment and wonder if I even need it to begin with. I eventually want to use another merchant account but paypal seems to be the easiest to get going and get my site off the ground so I guess the SSL I bought isn't completely useless. Terry V Posted September 20, 2006 Author Share Posted September 20, 2006 Well I talked to paypal after setting up payments pro and they said I will need an SSL certificate (which is being taken care of by my host right now). However after configuring paypal when I go to make payment it sends me to paypal's site which is obviosily secure.
