Guest Westie Posted October 8, 2006 Share Posted October 8, 2006 Hello, I've just downloaded the latest free version of the cart and I have a problem after trying to get to the next stage after stage 4 of the installation. I am getting the following message: don't have permission to access /cart/install/index.php I have tried changing the index.php file permission to 777, but it doesn't seem to make any difference. Guest Westie Posted October 9, 2006 Share Posted October 9, 2006 Hello, The section I was on when the problem occurred was where you select the skin and the advanced settings for the store URL and server root directory. According to the manual, the next stage is to step back file permissions and after this the installation is complete. I didn't get to this stage because the error occurred when I clicked on the continue to step 4 button.
