Guest c-anderson Posted October 12, 2006 Share Posted October 12, 2006 I read where there is a new upgrade for version 3 due to security problem. So I downloaded the upgrade and read how to do the install, but am worried to lose all the product inventory and everything my client has uploaded, etc. Can I expect a smooth transition or trouble. roban Posted October 12, 2006 Share Posted October 12, 2006 What version are you running now? If you're just applying the security patch you've nothing to be concerned about. And this is the latest file in the changelog folder of the version I downloaded to fix what's up there 3.0.10 to 3.0.12 Changelog. Thanks for your help. Guest gwizard Posted October 12, 2006 Share Posted October 12, 2006 Upgrade from 3.0.10 to 3.0.12 with patches is safe and db doesn't get affected too much. I've made it for a client and everything worked ok. Of course, do make backups of both your directory structure and db before you attempt anything.
