Terry V
I'm starting a site for another platform and instead of making everything confusing with categories I figured I'd just install another cart in another directory and just link to them from a main page. Everything went fine in the install however when going to a secured site it forwards the user to the directory the original site was in. Do I have to buy a new SSL certificate or is there a way to get this one to work? Terry
Guest
i *think* you may need a wildcard ssl cert
Guest Brivtech
A wildcard certificate normally covers subdomains, for instance: - www.domainname.com - store.domainname.com If you are operating multiple stores within the root domain (www.domainname.com), then the standard SSL certificate should cover the whole area. Wildcard certificates are useful if you want to section areas of your website out, like for a store, and a forum, however, be warned, that search engines see the subdomains as new different domains, not so good for rankings of the whole site.
