marko2002 Posted April 27, 2007 Share Posted April 27, 2007 Hi guys, wondering if anyone could possibly advise (or at least confirm) on a problem I am having with CubeCart sending emails. Config 1 Using "mail()" doesn't work . . . Config 2 Using "smtp" with my ISP's mail account works OK Config 3 Using my own exchange server doesn't work Config 3 is what I wanted to use as I like to keep everything within my domain although no matter what config I use within the SMTP settings, nothing gets out at all. I have tried hostname.domain.info, smtp.domain.info, auth on/off, auth domain admin account still no joy . . . I'm guessing that it could be a problem with my own mail server as using my ISP's mail account it works fine although to add to the confusion I have a forum running off the same box which is sending out mails fine!. I am soon going to rebuild everything as I am changing domain name so it may resolve itself at that point but not too sure. Guest Posted May 1, 2007 Share Posted May 1, 2007 The forum software has to have mail settings stored in its config. Check those out and compare to CubeCart's.
