how to get started on a local machine

First I had a problem registering on your system just to download the free version 4 installer tryout, and I had to register twice. Then, I have been trying all night to install CubeCart on my local machine (tryed with Wamp 5 and JSAS) with no success. With Wamp 5, everything was working fine until I had to install the Zend Optimizer, that was causing problems to my PhpMySql (can't use it anymore). Tryed to reinstall Wamp, but the same thing happened and my CubeCart key wasn't working anymore. I unloked it, cleaned up the key.php file, without success. Tryed to install on JSAS, without success too, always having a problem with the key !!!!

Could you tell me witch is the software to use to run CC on a local machine, I guess Wamp and JSAS aren't good choices ? And how do I proceed to do it without an headhake ? I have been installed other free Shopping carts as ZenCart and OsCommerce, and everything was soooooo easy, I was expecting the same user friendly package and even more because you sell a licence !!! I'm not even able to enter the admin !!! If you wan't me to buy the licence, it could be a good idea to let me test it before without having to spend the week to figure out how to enter in

Do a search on "easyPHP"

It's a lot simpler than the tools yo mentioned.

here is the errors messages I get after I inetalled zend and went to install cubecart

I forgot to mention that cunbecartforums.org doesn't work, so could you just tell me what to do or where I could get clear documentation on how to install CubeCart AND Zend on EasyPhp or Wamp server on a Windows XP machine ?

Did you find and read the easyPHP tutorials here and on the other web site?

Just to specify, I posted my message into CubeCart v3, but actually it's an error, I'm using the version 4.

I can't find any tutorial that explain the whole process of installing CubeCart on a local server, including the installation of Zend optimizer, witch seems to be the causes of all the errors, but seems that I have no choice to install it too. Can you give me a link where I can find that ?

ok, I found how to install Zend and the installation of CubeCart goes fine now, but I cannot go to the admin section, here is the message : License key error 7. IP Address doesn't match key file. Please visit http://www.cubecart.com for support.

I unlocked the key in my account before and deleted all the previous CubeCart install files. What else sould I do to have a valid key working !!?? Please help me !!! Seems like I cound never at least see what the admin panel looks like !!!!!
