Guest dudestore
Lets say, I design a graphic on the top of the site. I want to design completely 100% width. Would it be 780 pixels width?
Guest
Width is going to depend on what the viewers settings are. My screen width is set to 1280. Somebody else may have theirs set to 800 or 1024 or some other setting that their monitor allows. If you plan on making a cart that is centered on the page, then making a header size of 800 or slightly smaller will work fine (for the most part - some people may have smaller monitor settings, but most people do not). If you are making a cart that is one-size-fits-all (as in, it will expand depending on the viewers settings), then you are going to have to make an adjustable header... Guest dudestore
Hmm.. that why I'm asking.. so I could design my own header (logo) instead of using store_logo.gif and store_logo_bg.jpg.
Guest
Depending on the type of site I will either make the standard width of a larger logo at either 470 or 600. 470 will accommodate viewers using 800x600 resolutions. Where they *usually* won't have to scroll side-to-side.
