Guest
Hi Wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing these problems: If you have an existing site that you want to replace with CubeCart, seperate hosting, you have to create an account, construct it on the new server space and transfer the domain name. Problem is, when you transfer the domain, everything is still fixed to the previous 'temporary' server name. To change that you obviously have to change the details within the global.inc file. But then that changes the key.php file, the shopping cart stops working if you don;t have a dedicated SSL Certificate, the CC licence throws a wobbly and any 3rd party modules need their licences changing and don't work in the mean time. Has anyone got a better solution to avoid all the fuss and clients potenitally missing sales on the new and old sites? Thanks very much Dev01
Ausy
AFAIK there is no way round it, you will need new licence keys for your 3rd party mods that use them and a new key for Cubecart, the key is easy to do, instructions in the link. https://support.cubecart.com/index.php?_m=k...55&nav=0,
