Guest davebirchall Posted January 8, 2009 Share Posted January 8, 2009 I have been told by a number of people that my site has been flagged by google and mcafee site advisor as being suspicious and a potential host of malware. I have gone to great lengths to ensure that any such threat has been removed but never found anything. Some time back my hosts closed the site for three days claiming they had a complaint. When they finally restored the site, they claimed the malware had gone. Can anyone conduct a code review or advise how I can can fix this problem. I have written to google via the webmaster tools to seek reconsideration but heard nothing back and the (false) alert apparently remains. I NEED HELP as this will affect traffic and conversions. Has anyone had similar experiences? I am looking for 1)help in assessing the site ot make sure its clean 2) help in restoring the reputation of the site. If anyone gets the alert, please post back a screenshot.
