Guest VMDesigns Posted February 18, 2009 Share Posted February 18, 2009 I got notice that my web server provider is closing their doors on February 26. I have less than two weeks to move my store. My question is, with making a back up will I need to upload a clean install of cube cart and then upload my back up? Will all of my mods remain intact with my back up? Or will I have to have the mods installed again? If any one has good suggestions on a reputible web host provider, that would be appreciated. Ausy Posted February 18, 2009 Share Posted February 18, 2009 You just need to make a backup of the complete installation files on your server and also a backup of the MySql database. You upload these to your new host, make some changes to the global.inc file and should work.
