In mail() the system sends out two customer emails, but in SMTP mode it sends out just one. This is Case2: The payment confirmation email. I was wondering if anyone found out why this is happening. ploughguy Posted January 12, 2010 Share Posted January 12, 2010 It sends a confirmation message to the customer, and a confirmation message to the administrator. If you are testing and the notification address in the General Settings is the same as the email address for you test customer, then you will see two identical emails when you are testing. However, in production, customers will get one and you will get one. Now, the question is - why does the administrator get a confirmation email when an order is marked completed?
