Oh boy thanks for that I have someone looking at it now but it seems its not going to be easy to fix I might have to start again. a question re the bom - should I be searching for 0xef, 0xbb, 0xbf or could it look like anything?

So it turns out I had the address still set from cubecart 3. CC5 doesn't need you to add an IPN however because I already had one in there I couldn't delete it just replace it. Interesting will definatley have to change editors. Is main.php in the individual skin files? If so the mican skin hasnt been edited at all

ohh good thinking. So Ive changed the skin and it fixes some problems but not others so I guess that means that some of the issues are to do with the skin The site still sits over at the side rather than in the middle. but at least now you appear to be able to buy products. mind you it looks hideous now ;-) I guess I should go back and look at my skin files to see if I can see what has been changed as the skin use to work very nicely...to many hands in the file perhaps.

My site is an absolute mess on IE7 and above. I have been told it isn't necessarily my skin and that I should upgrade. I have upgraded to 5.1.1 but it is still a big mess. The site sits to the side and products don't show up. notanotherbabyshop (.com.au) is the site if you would like to take a look. Any thoughts on how to fix this as I am losing business.

Since upgrading to 5.1.1 I am getting a message from paypal to say that the instant payment notifcations have failed Please check your server that handles PayPal Instant Payment Notifications (IPN). Instant Payment Notifications sent to the following URL(s) are failing: www.xxx /modules/gateway/PayPal/ipn.php Any thoughts as to what I need to fix. Thank you! Holly

Ahhh I did have the mobile skin on but I don't think it was right it doesn't look like others I've seen - oh well I've turned it off now - all good

Thanks so much. We have had it fixed and i have now turned off the mobile skin as my mobile skin looks nothing like yours. So will have to get that looked at too. It just looks like a more simple version of my skin - with no background, no logo, invisible categories very strange. Thanks so much for your help!

Since upgrading from an earlier version of 5 when displayed on a mobile my banner and categories are missing. What do I need to do to get these back??? It worked perfectly before the upgrade. The mobile skin is not turned on. Thanks :-)

Can someone please tell me what the two boxes are suppose to say under allow uses to change front end skin

I have just had my cubecart upgraded from an earlier version of 5 to the latest version. My site now looks horrible on mobiles which I presume is something to do with the mobile skin however when I go into Layout settings. Down the the bottom where the skin is I have three questions Default front-end skin Default admin skin allow users to change front-end skin? and then two spaces where it appears that there should be questions but there isn't (there is an answer box but no question) Any thoughts as to what is going wrong. yep. Thanks heaps, I just check the other admins and its not on there screen just mine so hopefully it goes away.

This morning when I go into my dashboard I get an error Open Flash Chart IO ERROR Loading test data Error #2032 Can anyone tells me what might be wrong. I am on 5.08 Thanks Holly

Did you get this resolved? I am having a similar problem in that yep is appear in the top corner of my category screens then yepyep in my product screens but not on my home screen I turned on seo and thats the only thing I can think of that I have done.

I am using 5.08 do I need to upgrade to 5.09 and then to 5.1 or just go straight to 5.1 I have modficiations on my site that others have done for me so I can't go the straight install route can someone point me to a guide on to go about upgrading Thanks heaps.... Holly

I have just started to work on my custom urls for my cubecart 4 store www.birthingstyle.com.au but they are not appearing. Is there something I need to do besides entering a custom url such as womama-birthing-gown. Do I need to activate it somewhere? Thanks Holly

Have made the code changes but it doesn't appear to have changed the order I still get he same products appear in the sale box. Who knows what Ive done wrong. Thanks anyway I appreciate it.

This is resolved I stupidly added a dollar sign to the amount of shipping.
