Thanks for your rapid response Al I will come to you when I do the upgrade It is not just the initial population I am worried about, it will be a problem everytime I add new products. The other thing that BPM is useful for is to make rapid chages to products quickly, you know, download, quickly change prices or other details in excel and then re-upload. I am not sure if I would be able to manage without this. The other thing I am concerned about is flexibility of coupons, at the moment I offer voucher codes for certain cagegories. In fact certain categories I am not allowed to give out coupons by the brand so this would be an issue. I don't mind if I have to use a mod, its just that I don't think there is one yet. I also want you to know that CC4 has worked very well for me, allbeit with a few mods. Thats why I want to stay with Cubecart Many thanks, Marcus

I use CC4 still and I really want to upg5rade to CC5 but first... I have thousands of products, each with multiple images. How would I upload these, at the moment I use Sir Williams excellent BPM. Is it possible to work around this or do I wait untill Bill releases the product for CC5?

Thank you for this. It is a good idea, I am still using CC4 so need to find a mod for the contact form. Still its probably worthwhile anyway. Look forward to using CC5 too soon as there is enough mods/plugins available. Many thanks Marcus

Thank You for your reply. It doesn't sound there is an easy answer even with a bit of coding, the problem is that the limited edition bears we are waiting for are listed in the same catagory as others which are in stock because the same season bears arrive at different times. I guess we could create another catagory but it all becomes a bit messy and doesn't align with competitors presentations. I don't think that anyone has ever ordered a Ltd ed bear together with something else so that condition is unlikely to cause a problem, I think for now I am going to have to put them out of stock and give a phone number and email to order. Not ideal but it gives me time to consider and ask on the other forum. Thanks once again Marcus

There is one category on my site which does not require immediate payment everything else does. I have a situation with limited edition teddy bears, they need to be on the site to pre order but I do not want payment for them until I get them in stock which can be a year or more. I cannot use a deferred payment with my payment processor because the period is too long. I just want the order to be sent to me without any payment details, on my old website the payment is achieved getting in contact with the customer when the bear arrives. I just can't find out how the payment stage can be skipped. Any ideas please?

Hi Everyone Recently the category number is incrementing by 2 every time a category is added. As far as I am aware this is not actually causing a problem but I am rather curious about why this is happening and what triggered it! The category number used to increment by 1 each time.
