Hi — I recently took over managing the Cubecart site for www.heyday-mo.com. At the client's request, I turned off the Mal's E-Commerce payment option, leaving only the option to pay via PayPal by contacting the owner directly (site now does not process payment). The site was tested and functioned normally after that. The following day, I made a few minor changes: I added some bold text to the homepage, and I opened the confirmation email template to look at adding some instructions for Paypal payment. I didn't actually make changes to the template, as the paypal text was actually there, but not displaying when the email was sent, figuring I'd look into that later. Now, when a customer places an order, they can get as far as entering their information and clicking "checkout," but instead of a confirmation page, you'll see only a blank screen, or a "server error" message in Chrome. The customer receives no confirmation email. I checked the Error Log, and under System Errors, it shows this each time an order was placed: [Exception] /home/ftp/nickl/www.heyday-mo.com/catalog/includes/lib/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templatecompilerbase.php:665 - Syntax Error in template "b36df038d9c9654e701a63018107a1c3d5c5be6a" on line 144 "{if $DATA.gateway == "Heyday_PayPal"}</p>" - Unexpected "&" Which template is this referring to? How can I access it? The orders register in the system, but they are marked as "pending," not as "processing" as usual. Again, the customer receives no notification that the order has processed. Skin is a custom one made by the previous webmaster. Let me know fi there is anything else I should add, as I'm fairly new to Cubecart... thanks!
