I cant see any ref to 'Minify' or 'Turbo' anywhere ? Also if you have a look HERE there's no way of obtaining the Turbo plugin ! It's bound to be something simple as usual, so frustrating not knowing what it is or even where to look

I have the standard Paypal system only now and it's a breeze to check out now - not sure if its the skin doing it or the new 5.2.8 ? Either way I am happy with that aspect of it now. Neither my 'Image Upload' tool and 'Lettering' Tool are working now (which, obviously is crucial to me using this vector skin) - I did ask Jonathan who said it may well be a jquery issue, apparently the skin is not calling jquery at all It may well be Groundhog day all over again.

I did create a version and renamed it - it's not getting lost as I updated this evening and its still there. I'm really impressed with this Vector skin but I fear I might not be able to use it as its doing nasty things to my lettering tool http://www.greyprint.co.uk/index.php?_a=letter This is my main worry really with 3rd party solutions as I fear that I wont be able to get the support I will need when things dont go quite to plan.

Homar got back to me at the 11th hour, the problem is white pages when I activate his skin - but we just found that every other skin apart from the Mican I was using (and my own modified Mican version) has the same problem - white pages ! I may have to install everything again which is a nightmare for me, I'm happy to see I should be able to put my 'Categories' anywhere - I will look into that tomorrow. Today is my Hospital Radio day so cant do a lot, I need to be there very early today as I have a couple of guests coming on for an interview so it's a busy One Homar is requesting Error Logs but due to the nature of the Clustered Server system that Servage uses I dont think I can provide any but have asked again. IS there a script I can run which will make error logs ?

Another thing I want to do is get the navigation/menu along the top rather than on the left - I want to get rid of the left section all together and just have all of the boxes on the right. I see from this: HERE I can move the boxes but not the navigation/menu ! Is that kind of job a big one ? after all thats happened I was hoping to modify a stock skin to suit my needs rather than messing with things even further. I was quite excited to see the 'Fusion' configuration system, it looks like I will be able to do everything I need with that but as I said that's not an option at the moment as it's not working and I get no response from their ticket system.

Ah, fantastic. So I changed the background colour (that explains why the extra colour was there, it was not an image) to white. And the 'paper.gif' is like a marker to let me know where to put the path to an image should I wish to use one in the future. If I have understood that correctly I am happy

I have been waiting so long for someone to make a custom skin for me, and the Shopdev trial I tested doesn't work at all so I am seeing what I can do myself. I copied a default skin, renamed it and activated it in admin - its working BUT.. ..and I know some will read this and think 'How come you don't know this?' but I changed the default background image to just 'White' - its the same size as the original image 1653x1304 but when I scroll down the page now I see the original (well, bottom half of it) image appear again, like this: So, how can I stop this and ensure its continuous in colour? I don't understand why this original image colour is still showing at all ! I realise this is a trivial issue but I am stuck

Shopdev have not responded to me yet, do you have the 'White Page' problem also?

I have the trial version of the Vector Skin from Shopdev. I installed the skin and Fusion Framework as per the instructions, enabled the Fusion Plugin - selected the Vector Skin and entered the activation key. All looked good, everything went as expected but when I visit my store I see a white page - switching back to a default skin works and the store displays as it should. I uploaded their compat.php here and all looks good. I know DB uses this system so am posting here to make sure I haven't missed anything obvious before contacting shopdev. I must say I am impressed with the back end configuration options - just a shame it's not working at the mo. I did clear my Browser cache and all of the options under the 'Cache' section in CC admin, what else.. hmm...

That didn't work for me but I updated to the latest build and the link is back so all is well again. I really want to keep the Featured box as going forward my new skin (hopefully) will be including this - just need to re-visit a way of stopping my Lettering products from showing up in there. I have a lot to do before going into that again though but will be back when the time comes.

Sorry Brian, you are correct. When on the http://www.greyprint.co.uk/admin.php?_g=settings&node=hooks#snippets page if I view 'Page Source' I do see the code as you posted (line 140). And the Cubecart template file DOES contain the code as expected.

It will get fixed, Al and Brian are on it. For now I am using the standard Paypal gateway - it works as I expect and there are at least some order details when going through paypal. There seem to be no order details when checking out using the paypal plugin. I checked out lots of other solutions before settling for this, I think cc is the best one available at a one time fee - I will admit I didnt pay much attention to the checkout at first but everything else, to me is nice. Its just the messing with files I dont really like but thats just because I had somebody make me a tool and unfortunately they went about it in an unusual way according to my new developer chap.. Which means I am forced to mess about.

They are both using the same key - I asked Al to add my test store to the list for this key so I could continue testing as we get updates. I just checked and they are both using using the same key, I did just double check.

I need to remove this box as my Lettering Tool products keep appearing there despite what we have done to stop them. BUT, in 5.2.6 in the 'Code Snippet' tab the 'Add Snippet' link that allows me to add a new Snippet is missing ! It is still there in my Test Store but I cant remember which build of Cubecart that is on - how can I tell the version? But the main point is I can't add any more snippets in my Live Store.

Yes it does cause the error if you click the paypal button - thats what people will do. I just tried the Standard paypal payment gateway and thats easier - more like what people will expect BUT: There are no shiny Paypal buttons. There is no Confirmation of Payment message. I have my main site on 5.2.6 at the moment - that dreaded lettering tool is working thanks to the combined efforts of Brian/Jonathan. will try the 5..2.8 now and report back.

That new file works on the Live store, I'm just downgrading the test store to 5.2.5 again to see what happens. I wonder if this problem is because there is no Zend support in the later versions ? I wonder if it would just be a case of changing something from Zend to Ioncube somewhere in my Lettering Tool package? I just found another instance of that conversion ($HTML401NamedToNumeric = array() in /ajax/config.php/ I wonder if that was missing from the version I am downgrading? I am doing quite a bit of 'Wondering' today. No, its not working in 5.2.5 any longer.. something bad has happened

ok, the file you sent has an obvious block of extra text which must be the conversion - that makes sense, I can see that. But the original genimage.php's from both the working site and the test store are the same and DONT have that extra text so how on earth is the Live store working (characters appearing as expected)? (BTW the file is in: modules/external/lettering/ajax). I tried replacing the file you sent with that on the test store and clearing the browser cache and the admin cache but it still doesnt work This is where the frustration comes in, why does One site work and the other doesnt with both having the same genimage.php file without that extra conversion text ? At least with Jonathans new file I can see a difference, which gave me a fleeting flash of happiness

@ayz1 I have been thinking about this for a while, well - since I realised there was a problem with the CC Checkout anyway (at first I thought it was something I was doing wrong). "Customer experience is paramount" as we all know. I chose Cubecart because of the support here, I did try a few other eCommerce solutions but found other problems which led me here - I have invested far too much money now to consider another system (had 2x tools made - and spent months in time working out if this is the correct solution for me - I am about £600 in now in terms of developer costs). I have no doubt at all that this problem WILL be resolved - Brian is on the case (as he has indicated above ) and I know for sure that Al is also aware of the issue - for anybody offering an eCommerce solution such as Cubecart the developers will of course realise that the 'Checkout' is the crucial part of any sale so will fix it. I can't open my business until this is resolved - many are waiting for my 'Grand Opening' so for me to open with an overly complicated payment system will make me a laughing stock so I am prepared to lose money and wait for a fix. I suggest being patient - Cubecart will be the No1 soon, and we will be happy then.

I just want to be sure others are seeing the same as me: Off to Paypal, log in to that - Check Delivery Address and Price and continue.. Confusion begins: It looks like you need to log into my site again.. Do we select 'Checkout' or 'Paypal' at this stage? but we will hit paypal again as that is what the customer is trying to pay with.. Was presented with (At Paypal) Delivery Address again and amount to pay - hit 'Continue' at Paypal and then back here: Hit 'Make Payment' and yet another screen appears: Hit 'Make Payment' again and we have a notification that payment has been made. To me there seems to be too many screens to go through, this will confuse the customer as they would be thinking they had made payment a few screens ago - or were just unsure ! it's not going to make for an efficient checkout

Any idea where to look for and change the Character set ? I have been trying to figure out the differences between the working version of the 'Lettering Tool' taken from my Live site and the no longer working (no more fonts displaying - that old chestnut) with Beyond Compare. I was hoping to see the changes Jonathan made but this is a nightmare of the very highest order. I will persist until I get there - the thoughts of just giving up fade after a nights sleep.
