They'll grow back.
But in the mean time.....

Got it resolved. It was a combination of issues - one was a configuration problem at the hosting end... easy enough to fix; the other was a typo in the backend - not so easy to fix (without cutting off all ten of my thumbs!!!)

I have just finished a new install of 5.2.8 on my hosting service (webhostinghub.com) and have MOST things working fine.
There are a couple of issues, one of which I will give in this post.
When I post a test email from the Contact Us page, the program responds as expected (Thank you for your message, a member of staff will reply to your email shortly.)
However, I never GET the email! I have set my email settings in the ACP/Store Settings/Advanced tab for both SMTP and PHP trying both. Neither work. I have used a couple of different addresses in the tab, but each fail to work. I am getting no error messages in the Error logs on the error log pages. I know my email client is connecting to the server and downloading mail, because I sent myself messages from my client and received them all. Just can't get any sent/received from the store.
The sendmail settings in PHP are:
I am confused - and I'm suffering from Old Timers, so I appreciate your help!

I am new to CC and just setting up our store. We want to use Merchantinc.com as our payment gateway, but I do not see them as an option available in the control panel.
How/where would I get the plugin that will work with version 5.2.8+ ??? I would rather not have to deal with PP for any longer than necessary.
Thanks.

Try clearing your cache, categories often get stored in that
Thanks Toucan! Works perfectly!

Cannot get this to work in 5.2.8 - Crosshatch theme. I even DELETED the lines and the menu items remained!
Force a rebuild of SEO Links
in Technical Help
Posted
I have noticed on a few of the pages I "cloned" and then made changes to, the SEO link on the Search Engines tab was incorrect (pointed to a "6 pc. set" instead of a "2 pc. set") I made a manual change to the Custom SEO url path. I did not get any errors and the pages seemed to load OK for me.
I have looked for an option to force the rebuild of the SEO links and for the life of me I cannot find one -- unless it's hidden behind a tab somewhere. (version 5.2.8)
Is there such a beast?
Why are the SEO urls not correct?
Will manually changing them break the store?
Will it break those pages?
How can I force CC to rebuild the SEO urls?
Thanks,
