  1. Moving the Tawk.to widget to another part of the page via the Tawk.to administration panel will work with no problem.
  2. Decided to hard code the changes needed. Thanks though.
  3. What is this hooks.xml file, how does it work? How does one use the hooks to trigger a script from a plug-in? Thanks in advance
  4. I'm working on a Welcome Email plug-in. However, I'm having some issues. One, it's saving Plain-text, not FCK, chances are I'm just missing something here. Two, I don't know how to trigger it without modifying the registration script itself. Any documentation would be good but then I've searched and seem to find there is nothing? Why is there no documentation for module development?
  5. I'll give them the URL, not the IP. I don't feel like getting this working and in a few days, weeks, months, it just stops. edit: Forgot to say, thanks again for all the help guys. I do appreciate it.
  6. Response from Siteground.
  7. I have Siteground looking into it now. They told me the port is open by default on all of their servers for this very reason. I'll keep you posted.
  8. I just ran a PHP script to check the port and it is indeed closed. Thanks for the heads up. I'll get on their case to open it.
  9. Any idea what to do about
  10. Well, it actually was that simple for changing the password and getting us back online. Knowing the format and the algorithm to use was all I needed to create a new password. Chances are I typo'd somewhere and caused this issue myself. Only thing I can't account for is the email not being sent, but I'll revisit that another time. Thanks.
  11. On a fresh install, the login details worked one time and now it returns invalid. The forgot password email does not get sent, and when I went to phpMyAdmin the hashed password is way too long to be md5. Sooo.... What's the algorithm used for hashing the Admin password? Oh, and I am using the latest version of CubeCart available on Softaculous. Thanks in advance Edit: I found out how to create my new password by opening /classes/password.class.php $salt.$value.$salt Still doesn't explain why or how the password was changed or altered from what it was originally, nor does it explain why no email was sent by the forgotten password form.
  12. Thank you very much @jasehead I appreciate the insight! Also if any others are interested I found a host that allows port 30000 for the Canada Post plugin: www.siteground.com
  13. Ouch didn't know that. Thanks again!
  14. According to tawk.to it has to be in the footer of the page, near the </body> tag. I'll try the skin template option and see how that goes, will keep you posted. I'll look into writing an actual plug in for the community after I'm done this project. Also, if I can grab one more tip while I have you around. The Canada Post plug in requires a merchant ID. Do I need to get my client to set this up or can I do it for them ? If not I have to wait til tomorrow to call them and get more information. Thanks for the help bsmither, appreciate it
  15. Hello folks, trying to place the tawk.to script in a clients website. Any advice on where it should be? It has to show up on every single page. Thanks in advance.
