  1. I received message form Comm100 that the code is old.

Is this not updated in the recent releases?

    Kind Regards,

    Marcel

    Dear Marcel,

This is to remind you that the Comm100 Live Chat code installed on your website is out of date and you should update it to the new code, which features the following benefits:

    1. Faster chat button and website loading, good for both user experience and SEO.

    2. Fixed the issue that, on some rare conditions, you might experience slow website loading when our chat server was under maintenance.

    3. Removed the links in the chat code, which might cause your website visitors clicking to the Comm100 website by mistake.

    4. The newly released feature Embedded Chat Window requires the new code to work.

Updating to the new code is easy. Log into your Comm100 account, go to the "Installation" page, get the code for the plan you are currently using (learn more) and replace the code on your webpages with what you have just got; you can then enjoy all the benefits of the new code.

If you are using Comm100 Live Chat WordPress or Joomla plugin, please update it to the latest version to enjoy the benefits. If you no longer want to use Comm100 Live Chat, it's recommended to remove the chat code from your web pages.

Should you have any questions or need any help, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Thank you for all your support! Have a nice day!

  2. *** THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN RESOLVED JUMP TO FIX ***

I upgraded my store from 5.1.1 to 5.1.2 by hand because the automatic upgrade still did not work.

I uploaded all files and ran the setup (upgrade).

EEVerything seems to work, but I had switched my store to offline before upgrade and now I can't put it online again.

When trying to change setting I get a blank page .....

    What is going on?

  3. Is it possible to set the sort order of the products in categories in the admin panels.

I would like to sort the products by date added (newest first), this has to be predefined by me as shopowner. Not that every custumer has to set the sort order.

    Hope to hear from you.

    Kind Regards,

    Marcel

  4. This is the error I get also.

    Hello,

I did click on the update button, but then I got the error.

Then I extracted it and did the traditional setup. Nevertheless, the update button on the 5.11 is also having the same error, when I ask to force the update it says the 5.10:"The following errors were detected:

    • Failed to download latest version. Please attempt manual upgrade."

    thanks

    Can anyone help me?

    Greetings,

    Marcel

  6. I am having same problem when trying to update/upgrade to 5.1.0.

I don't have an answer to the paypal problem but I had the same trouble when I first went from V4 to 5.0.1 and put in a help ticket for it.

As for the problem with setup I've got a similar issue but I get the following error though I can still log into my admin panel:

Warning: require_once(/home/wws/public_html/shoppe/setup/ini.inc.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/wws/public_html/shoppe/setup/index.php on line 6

    Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/wws/public_html/shoppe/setup/ini.inc.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/wws/public_html/shoppe/setup/index.php on line 6

  7. No mistype in emailaddress, not in spambox.

Tried again, old user name is taken but with request of password there is no email sent either.

Made new account few days ago, still no email received yet.

Maybe you mistyped your email address. Why not try again, or maybe it's just because of the time difference.

  8. I tried this upgrade this morning, I am running a 100% standard version of 5.05 but all I got was a blank page on the store front, admin ran ok, did all the usual, cache clearing etc but nothing. Gone back to a back up. Think i'll give up on the upgrades.

I constantly got this error: [Exception] /home/sites/mydomain.com/public_html/includes/lib/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templatebase.php:127 - Unable to load template file 'js.tpl'

When you cleared the Cache did you do that through the admin panel or through ftp? This is where my first install hung up and thankfully I caught the failed notices from my ftp software. I had to go into cache and delete what I could manually. Somethings took more than one try and some refused to be deleted at all. The next problem was within the Cache folder is a Skins folder. I couldn't get it to delete to save my life. I had to rename it and then upload the files again to make it work.

If there is a problem with an upgrade it always happens to me. 5.0.5 was really buggy so I went back to5.0.4 but other than the trouble I had listed above, there were no other problems with 5.0.6.

I've found the easiest and fastest way to delete Cache before an install is to do it from the File Manager in cpanel.

I am getting the same error in my logfile.

I get keeping blank page when I try to open my store. I can access admin panel, but store front is not running.

Anyone, who can help me out with this problem?

    Greetings,

    Marcel

It must have something to do with the language files. Try changing the default language of your store to English and see if it works that way.

I tried it, but no change :-(

I was hoping. I noticed your website has an .nl domain, and I know CC5 is having some language file problems.

It did work in 5.0.5.......... waiting for Al to solve this problem.....
