Well, there are several things you can do 1. Include the fee in the price! Simple 2. Add an option that adds a the fee. Simple 3. Use shipping cost as your fee. Simple 4. Request a mod if the above options don't work for you. Simple but costs $. I am sure there are more options... Good luck /Goober

I have a mod that does EXACTLY that, well... almost The mod is all done, I just have to write the install docs for it. I hate doing documentation. Here's how the mod works. You can create an unlimited number of customer groups for example: Wholesale Group Gold Club Members Preferred Customers East Cost Cutomers West Cost Customers .... Once the groups are defined. You will need to edit your registered customer and assign that customer to a group of your choice, Wholesale Group, for instance. Now your customer is a member of Wholesale Group. Now you go to your product inventory. Edit each product and assign a SEPARATE FIXED price to this product within each group. So.... If you defined the 5 groups above, EACH of your products will now have 7 (seven) prices. One default price, if a customer is not in any group, 1 sale price, and 5 other prices, one for each group. You like it so far? But wait there is more Each group can have an optional quantity discount trigger, If a customer buys more that x amount of that product, you can change the price of that product to a new discounted fixed price. So now in my example above that would mean that each product has 12 different prices. Remenber, that the quantity discount trigger is optional and can be specified on any group price. If you only have one shipping method enabled and it's not preselected in the dropdown, then you've got something missconfigured. Check and make that you do in fact have only one shipping method. And if you do, make sure it's configured correctly. There is no setting in CC to replace shipping dropdown if you only have one method. But it agree it would be nice ( brooky). If you really wanted to get rid of the dropdown for shipping then you can either mod the cart.inc.php and calc.php of your chosen method, or ask a moder to do it. Good luck /Goober

paulabakerparkin has a point. I was confused in the beggining too. most shopping carts take you to the cart view, cubecart doesn't. Although it is slick how cc does it, I love it, it is not very clear that the item was added. Perhaps a message on the page or javascript alert would help in some cases. but that's just my nickle. (btw two cents is so over. with the current oil prices two cents is now a nickle)...
