  1. I managed to change my shop location from teeshirtmart.com/cart to teeshirtmart.com by creating a new database, reinstalling CC3.02 and importing the old database with the exception of the admin tables. Then I simply uploaded my modded skin files and some includes files. All works well with the store. The problem I have is when I log onto admin after login.php it defaults to /cart/admin/index.php instead of /admin/index.php. I can change it in the browser address bar and I get right in. Question is why it tries to login to /cart/admin/index.php. I have looked in PHPMyAdmin for anything that points to /cart/ but there is nothing. Global.inc is setup correctly. Where would it be calling the /cart/admin/index.php from?
  2. You need to install the meta tag mod. If you had done a search for 'meta tags' you would have found it in this discussion here: http://www.cubecart.com/site/forums/index....52&hl=meta+tags
  3. First of all welcome to CC. All of your documents are created and edited in your admin control panel, ie: http://www.yoursite.com/admin/login.php there you will see a menu on your left an if you scroll down under Documents you will see Site Documents. Click on that and you will have a chance to edit existing and create new documents that will be added to your documents bar automatically. As for meta tags they are generated in the General Settings menu where you can add keywords, description and shop name. Until you buy a license you will always have (Powered by Cube Cart)as part of your title. There is a mod that will add better meta tags and if you do a search of the board you will find it. Look in the Downloads Section for this. If you need help do a search before posting as most of your questions have probably been answered. Good luck with your project.
  4. My vitamin store has a PR 4. It takes awhile to get ranked. Google just did a PR upgrade a few days ago.
  5. I have a CC to OSC mod. I don't know if it'll do anyone any good but you might want to take a look at it. cubecar_to_osc.zip
  6. casaic, I edited the order in my db before applying the fix.
  7. You can try relecting the changes in global.inc but that never worked for me. A re-direct might be your answer. I think the best you can hope for is to backup your db, do a re-install and import.
  8. Please do a search for this as it has been covered many many times. Thanks.
  9. This worked for me: http://bugs.cubecart.com/index.php?do=details&id=245
  10. There was a paid mod for version 2 but nothing I know of for version 3
  11. An easy way to do this would be to take the same index.tpl file like suggested above and do the following: </table> </div> {SITE_DOCS} </div> <div align="center"><img src="http://www.your site.com/credit card image name"></div> </body> </html> <!-- END: body --> Upload your credit card image(s)to your root directory and they will appear centered under the document bar
  12. A plug for Sir Bill. I use this mod and it works beautifully.
  13. Here's a thought. Using paintshop pro (or your favorite image editor) create a jpeg for each category with only text. Make it 300 x 60 px and experiment with size, font, background colors, etc. Then upload to admin\view categories\edit\upload image
  14. Not in Firefox. There are fixes for this that have been posted. Do a search for Latest Products.
  15. I haven't seen one. Backup from PHPMyAdmin
  16. That sounds like a great plan. Would it mean adding a table to the db? No biggie for those with PHPMyAdmin, just a small import. The work you have done so far has gona a long way towards SEO. I am working on a viable Google SiteMapper and as soon as I resolve the login and reg redirects to minimize the editing I hope to be able to generate site maps for whoever needs them.
  17. I have always found the easier way to install whether it be for the first time or an upgrade is not to use Fantastico. Fantastico only has version 3 so an upgrade is inevitable. The best way is to create your database, upload the files and install from there. It means adding products again but that's just the way it is until someone comes up with a viable way of importing from a 2.06 or 3.0 database.
  18. @ kinetic: Don't hold back bud. Let us know how you feel. Cheers M8, you're right on target.
  19. My experience with SSL is this. I bought a certificate and my ISP installed it. My store runs on a dedicated IP within my ISP. I did not activate SSL and I do not have an https extension.
  20. File Name :: Frooglefeed Author :: grcdude2 Category :: Minor Description Add Frooglefeed capability to generate frooglefeed.txt View File
  21. Installed on my vitamin site and works a treat. Putting it on teeshirtmart.com also
  22. That did the trick. Thanks Bill, I never would have thought of that.
  23. cntgifts as for table rate shipping, there is a Mod that costs $8.00 that will figure shipping as per cost. I bought it and it works.
  24. I agree about the SEO kinetic. It s the single most important job. Many thanks for your work in this and especially sharing it.
