why is it it so hard for people to understand your public site root folder? why is it so hard to understand that you can have folders on the same level as your site folder and not be visible to the web? if your downloads are in with your sitefiles but in seprate folders they can be snooped and stolen if your downloads are ABOVE your sitefiles outside your ROOT they cannot be accessed directly but need php or something else to show a link to it or use a IP

the dk lang config file is fooked THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH ALL DK languange config files the problem only shows on products that have product options and you try to click the buy button from the short list it has 3 extra lines below the last line in it and loves to send the headers already sent error open language/dk/config.inc.php and get rid of the last 3 empty lines and your BUY buttons on products that have product options will work like a champ. again all versions of the DK language config file are fooked and even if not using it it will cause a problem on the buy button for any product that has product options and that buy button is clicked from the product list with short descriptions.

works fine with 3.0.4 Ive got it running on my clients site at http://www.usahaircare.com hacked it at 3.0.2 tweaked it at 3.0.3 and left it intact at 3.0.4 Kinetic

when you set a percentage off all prices of say 20% for all products and a product has say a +$20 the routine doesnt take a discount off the up charge which in essence it should especially if you advertise a 20% off sale $10 base price discounted 20% shows $8.00 user selects option 1 bigger size +$20 cart total is $28.00 whichis NOT an actual 20% off but more like a 2% because the percantage off all prices doesnt take into account product options that have an up charge for larger sizes some would say just reduce the option charge by the required amount but when you have 1100 product and most of them have 2 or 3 or 4 product options with up charges this is NOT an option (pun intended) Im sure some smart fellar here could figure a way that if you use the percantage off all products setting that it would do a check for an option value and discount that amount as well to give a proper percentage off in the cart total. luckiliy my client has goober99's excellent coupon manager so we turned off sale prices and made a 20% coupon and advertised that on the front page of the site saving countless hours of editing product option prices and countless orders from people who were mad at the 20% discount didnt apply to a product that they wanted in a larger size

yeah this would be a nice fix orders added to the database after payment has been applied and processing or order deleted if canceled lots of pending orders showing up from paypal and authnet transactions. mail orders would have to be handled as they are now because they should be pending as you have to set them manually when you receive the payment via snail mail definetly room for some changes in this area...

whats the URL to your shop sunshine? and/or where is it messed up? Ill take a look and see if I can determine where it went wrong several others have used my hack with great success and NOT rukimans mod the 2 are incomaptible one or the other not both. as rukimans is an advanced module that does what my hack does and then some. the hack is a pretty simple thing to put the category names into the title bar of the browser

yeah notepad (comes with windows) is wonderful for editing css.... css is just text if you are looking for a wysiwyg css editor then the only one I can reccoment is topstyle pro (not free) Dreamweaver also has a decent css editor although it wont show some advanced css stylings in design view.

amazing things can be done with Invision Power Boards and spliting up and making new boards/forums for specific areas is a grand idea Im completely familiar with IPB admin and know this is an easy thing to do IPB has sooo many wonderful options, permissions, settings you are only limited by your creativity in setting up your board. ok for the umpteenth TIME changing the logo does not violate the license feel free to skin color change graphics to suit your store purchasing a license allows you to remove the "powered by cubecart" in the title bar and the link to cube cart in the footer which brooky CLEARLY states. you also cannot remove the comment section in the top of each file stating brookys copyright. But Id purchase a license JUST TO GIVE Brooky the money he deserves and I still leave the link to cubecart. people should read and SEARCH before posting this has been answered NUMEROUS times. strange I use Firefox and havent noticed a problem in Firefox and FCK loading slow but Im 5Mbs cable and I get it to make pargraphs all the time by highlighttext blocks and align left center right justifided (div paragraph) also try shift+enter it aint a perfect wysiwyg editor and for my clients its a godsend to beable to have that much control over their contents formatting along with being able to do proper hrefs and image uploads where as Im just as comfortable switching to source view and coding direct there... But IM not my clients... I couldnt agree more!!! creating a custom skin couldnt be easier and swapping the info boxes around on a page even easier with the use of the macro tags those are a total Godsend!!!

I modified it to say to look in the sub category or Mfg entrys be nice to have your hack tho estelle why not post what you did to make it not show if not porudcts but there were subcats and to make it show if no subcats and no products be a cool hack to share with folks

talk to goober99 he did a Custom By Price Shipping mod for me. Which does a Free Shipping Level. It allows you to enter the ISO 2 letter codes for National International and excluded countries. It also allows you to set one price for national countrys and another shipping price for international. So if a user is a national one and their order is over the freel level set then shipping is free. If they are national and the order is less then their shipping is the amount set for national orders. If they are international and whether their order is over or under the free shipping amount they still pay the international shipping amount. goober99 rocks talk to him! SMTP account name IS your email address NOT just the whatever@ before the @ also some servers are configured to use + instead of @ in the account name... make sure you have your settings absolutely correct

did you do SSL then the admin page quit working? if so if your store is now under SSL you MUST use the https://www.yoursite.com/admin also if you did SSL and didnt set the paths coirrectly you will problems...

I went into Phpmyadmin and dumped the admin sessions data (all five pages of it) 41 sessions per page 5 pages = 205 sessions was the limit now it is working again... seems theres a limit or something which wouldnt be bad if we could dump the session data from the stores admin when things got full...
