well you have a point but truly my intent is to pay for a mod to be created quickly and PAY for that mod to get it done

only way is to use the prev next page number links on the bottom section to browse your pages of products that have options they are listed alphabetically by product name
so click the > will scroll you thru pages of your products
remember this is the bottom section!
be nice if there was a search box to search for a specific product title.... in product options

do note that paypal pro is NOT a free option from paypal
you will have to pay paypal to use their paypal pro system
cubecart will just hook into that system... if you are interested in using paypal pro with cubecart when 3.0.3 is released I suggest you visit paypal and read up on paypal pro...

to find a member click the Members icon at top on the forum or click search and type in mod and his name in the filter by member name
easiest to click the Members Icon and go thru the pages of members till you find him and then can see his profile

you need to remove options from a specific product?
if so click Product Options
then in step 3
3. Assign option & value to product (e.g. T-Shirt > Colour > Red)
browse each page of products that have options till you find the one you want to delete options for you will have to delete each option for that product
so if the product you want to delet eoptions for is call Myproduct1 and has 4 options
you will have to browse the pages that have that products options
the prev next page number for step 3 is on the right hand side in Product options

I have a client who uses the By Price Shipping module in Cube Cart 3.0.2
and needs it customized for their site The client uses a flat rate for national orders (USA) and a separate flat rate for international orders and provides free shipping to national orders (USA) for orders over $25 the current CC3.0.2 flat rate shipping module does not take this into consideration. and neither does the By Price Shipping Module. International Orders never receive free shipping due to the higher cost of shipping products internationally.
Heres the criteria
Timeframe: 1 Week
By Price Shipping Module: Store Admin Side
Current functions:
A ) Can enable/disable module
B ) Can Set a Free shipping level (orders over X Amount are free shipping)
C ) Can Set shipping cost for orders under the amount set in the Free Shipping Level
Custom Features Needed:
1) International Shipping Cost
2) Excluded Countries
3) National Countries
4) International Countries
1a ) Need the ability to set a International Shipping cost so that if a customer is from a international country they will pay the international shipping cost NO MATTER if their order is over the specified Free Shipping Level. International Orders will NOT have Free shipping if their cart total is over the specified Free shipping level...
2a ) Excluded Countries a comma seprated list field to enter ISO codes (2 letter code) for countrys you will not ship to what so ever.
3a ) National Countries a comma seprated list field to enter ISO codes (2 letter code) for countrys you WILL ship to and if cart total is over the specified Free shipping level will receive Free shipping and if cart order is BELOW the specified Free shipping level will apply the National Shipping cost
4a ) International Countries a comma seprated list field to enter ISO codes (2 letter code) for countrys you WILL ship to and if cart total is over OR under the specified Free shipping level will pay the specified International shipping cost and ignore the free shipping level.
By Price Shipping Module: Store Customer Side.
Step 2 Address Shows a drop down box currently for shipping (if logged in)
this needs to be changed to a Free Shipping! text in the shipping row of the cart if the customer is 1) from a national country set in admin and 2) their order is over the specified free shipping level set within admin.
If the customer is from a country other than the National countries set in the admin side this needs to be a shipping total amount and not a drop down box.

$20 would get you about 20 minutes of my time
designing a logo isnt not something you want to throw open to a contest and pay $20
you will end up with a $20 logo that does nothing for your brand and will just show you didnt want to have a logo designed properly
a logo is a mark that at a glance says who you are what you do/sell
a unprofessional logo will hurt you...
spend some time and create your own logo as you know what you want it to convey better than anyone else
also you didnt include anything in your post about who what wheres about your company so how can anyone else design a logo that satisfies you and your company needs?
study major brands and their logos
and design one from your heart that represents what your company is about

at some point in the check out process you NEED to get the Customers Name their Address and phone and email
without that information is YOU CANNOT SHIP
CubeCart allows them to not register but begin checking out
and at step 2 it asks if they are a current customer (already registered)
or a new customer
if new it presents the registration form and gathers all the necessary information from them then proceed to the final steps in check out
Their cart contents are still there... just like every other e-commerce site out there
unlike every other site Cubecart provides us the ability to give our customers several payment options which is the final step in check out
you can have MULTIPLE payment options
example Paypal MAil Order and Authorize.net
and since weve already collected their information at step 2
which every e-commerce site does at one step or the other
the customer has a choice on how they want to pay and that infoirmation is provided to the payment gateway...
every single site you can buy products or services from at some point asks you for your information during the checkout...
customers do not have to register FIRST
they can shop
then begin checkout
then proivide the info we need for shipping (register)
so a mod that allows a customer to fully check out without providing NEEDED information to ship their products IS STUPID

Oh yes the other thing I wanted to ask was it was mentioned about opening index.php to start the changes, but which index.php as there are many in various folders.

the index.php in your sites root
the index.php that runs the whole show...

the index.php thats was in the unzipped files "upload" folder
NOT admin/index.php that wouldnt make any sense now would it? as we dont care if search engines spider our password protected admin area...

should try the CC3 config tool brooky set up for us
its in the dowwnloads section

download that and then unzip
then upload the file in the zip to your server and run from a browser you can make all sorts of changes using this tool
this tool is necessary because alof the admin tables in the DB are serialized

do you have an active authorize.net account?
did you set up the virtual terminal settings at authorize.net?
did you generate a MD5HASH?
did you generate a transaction ID?
did you then insert your user ID and transaction ID in the stores admin > gateways > Authorize?...

your host might have mail() disabled (to prevent spammers using your server)
try using the SMTP setting and inpoutting your emaiul address and password for that email address in most cases this will clear up most email problems with cubecart

your problem is directly related to your uploads folder not being chmodded to 0777
not the upload folder that was in the zip file for cubecart but the uploads folder
using your favorite ftp clicent you can right click the folder and find the chmod action and set it to 777 read wriute and execute for all groups
again your problem as stated from the error you posted IS from not having the uploads folder improperly chmodded chmod only works on 'nix systems (unix/linux) windows servers its different and I dont use windows servers cuz they are junk and easily hacked
if you need to PM me your FTP host ftp.whateveryourdomainis.com
the user ID and password and I will try to properly chmod the folder for you

the "honest" ones wont steal... the ones who will know the tricks
face it if it is on the web it is there to be dowloaded
take it as a compliment if they steal your images ( could always puut a watermark on your images with your business name or domain name across the images just enough to make them worthless to steal but still yet usable to use on your site)

ummm no right click scripts are WORTHLESS
1) Dragging the image to the URL bar willopen the image in a new window with out your no right click
2) User can scrounge thru the tempoprary internet cache for the images
3) User can do Ctrl+right click+ enter to bypass the no right click
4) User can hit print screen button to screen capture the image and crop using favorite photo editor
face it if you put ANYTHING on the web people can steal it....
no right click scripts are WORTHLESS....
and oh by the way no right click scripts dont work in Firefox... the right click menu will always show...

should be a text input field for titles and text areas for meta description and meta keywords...
sure hope your v4 works on all server environments...

CubeCart 3 does not have a database back up feature as this was assumed to be a security risk because people would back up and download the sql file but then would not delete the backup file from their server even tho they were warned to delete it as leaving your backed up sql file in your backup directory is a HUGE security risk
especially since passwords were not encrypted in the database in v2 flavors...
to back up your database login to your cpanel (if you have it) and go into mysql and click on the phpmyadmin link from there click export at the top
click the select all and make any other clicks for options like extended inserts etc and save as a file (give it a name) and save the sql file on your hard drive

seeing how I paid for your search engine mod and CANNOT use it I would like the meta keywords and meta titles and descriptions seprate from your search engine friendly URLS unless in version 4 you can show that search engine friendly URLS will work in all server environments

I pass the cube cart license fee on to my clients or they buy it themselves and in EVERY SINGLE INSTANCE we have removed the powered by from the title but like its been posted on most monitors it wont even be seen and we have left the footer link to cubecart.com INTACT
and heres why.... Cubecart.com has a bad ass page rank gets tons of traffic and if your site links to brooky then your site is considered more important leaving a link to brooky even if you buy the license just makes good sense having powered by cubecart in the title is also good sense for SEO buying a license isnt about removing stuff its about supporting a guy who works his freakin ass off developing a excellent system and trying to handle all the questions on the forum that 9 out of 10 could have been 1) answered by the person asking if they had just read a little bit 2) poked around in admin on their store or 3) had done a search on the forum first.... most of the time and questions asked on this forum are from lamers whining cuz they didn RTFM...
so to whine about brookys licensing just makes you look lame and makes ya a tosser.
buy the license and leave the powered by and leave the link it does more for you than you think buy the license cuz brooky deserves it!!!!
