    I am trying upgrade form cubecart 4 to cubecart 5 keep having problems with it all

     

    my host has told me to do the following 

     

    Note that Zend Optimizer is used for PHP 5.2, and it's replaced by Zend 
    Guard in PHP 5.3.

    We have PHP 5.3 with Zend Guard Loader v3.3. You can enable Zend Guard 
    for your account by adding this line to your global php.ini file:
    zend_extension = /usr/local/Zend/ZendGuardLoader.so

     

    as on my host the ioncube PHP loader v4.4.0

     

    any input on the matter

    only gets to 60% and stops and idea's what i am doing wrong please.

    Sagapay 'Old Protx URLs'

    After September 30th, many of the 'Old Protx URLs' will no longer be active. If you are using a shopping cart, a kit or a custom integration and think that you might be using the OLD URL's please ensure that you make the switch to the New URLs. I have provided a link below which should list all the URL's you will need.

    This is a really important change as if your integration uses the Old Protx URL's to process transactions, those transactions may stop processing if you continue to use the Old URLs after the date.

    After updating to 4.4.0 the buy button did not work when using i.e.7. Click on it and it would not add the item to the cart. also ie7 reported error on page. This was on all three of my sites that are hosted with 2 different hosts. I installed i.e.8 to see if it worked and it did not have a problem. Also worked ok with firefox and chrome. I no longer have ie7 installed so i don't know if 4.4.1 works with ie7. Sorry i don't have an answer but maybe this info will help with diagnosis.

    HI

    Afte doing a update to 4.4.1 i had know end of problems with my web site. The main onw is when you press buy button

    nothing is going on at all.

    All i get is error on page.

    One problem i had yesterday the shop kept turning itself offline.

    This has been one of the worse update i ha problems iwth my eb site after a update.

    Any Idea's?

    Search engines may think www.northwalesinks.com/store and northwalesinks.com/store are two different sites.You should set up a permanent redirect (technically called a "301 redirect") between these sites. Once you do that, you will get full search engine credit for your work on these sites.

    Your logo doesn't link back to your homepage and both www.northwalesinks.com/store/ and www.northwalesinks.com/store/index.php exist in the internal linking structure, making your link juice disperse among two URLs lowering both of their bower in search engines and creating duplicate content problem for you.

    I be greatful somebody can give me some points here????

    I also have a problem with your design. I think you should hire a professional designer as this is just terrible. It looks like it was designed in the nineties. Your logo is just terrible (both design and image quality) and your fluid design makes your store look terrible in the higher resolutions. Usability is also pretty bad since I need lots of clicks to get to any product on your store.

    I'd suggest moving to any modern online store solution with web 2.0 functions such as Magento.

    You have no blog and your social media activity is invisible. This results in you having extremely low number of backlinks (which are needed to rank high for any competitive keyword on major search engines) and your website having a Google PR of 1 / 10.

    Basically, there's a lot of work to be done on your site in a SEO perspective :zorro:

    I just upgrade cubecart three to cubecart four. I Got major problem i got 50 items in one category,

    So their 10 per page, So when you try to go to page 4 nothing it happening, Any idea why it's not working at all,
