I am about to start my 2nd store with CubeCart and am looking for a couple of questions answered. Are there drop downs available for the categories/sub-categories or is that in the next version? Is there cross promotion on items. Like if say a tshirt was on sale can the item say also available and link to a pair of shorts?

Are these paid for mods? I am in the UK. I have had to remove tax completely to get what I want.

This software contains some problems. So small they should really have been fixed by now. Hopefully in 3.1. Parsing array keys error? Why does this only work on some products. Some code has been disabled on the recommendation by Al but we shouldnt have to disable code. Clicking continue in the basket when logged in goes to step 2 which does absolutely nothing. Tax, dont get me started. Product options, should be able to affect stock number. Input x amount in a certain colour etc. Now I am really really fond of this software. At the top of its field for the price. But with 15 releases in the 3 series stuff should of been ironed out. Are there plans to fix this stuff in 3.1?

Have you any idea where I can find this mod? I have had a look on .org but cant locate it.

Cheers for the kind offer mate. It was the home.inc.php file that I needed to reupload. All the other site documents were fine. Roll on 3.1. Looking forward to that!

How do I get it back? I have a backup of all my files.

Basically I want the script to do this. Add a price of say £150 which is the price with VAT. I want this to be displayed everywhere as the full price, but when it comes to checkout it shows how much VAT is going to be but still charge £150. Is this possible?

It seems there are some problems with sessions. When you go to login you cannot login, if you add something to the basket then go to your basket there is nothing in there. Also the only images that show up are ones within the database. I am using a shared ssl certificate.

Maybe the script is set up not to display these aspects in the cart. Most of the stores I have seen run by cubecart do not have these displayed in the cart area. Anyone know if this is true?

I understand everything apart from point 5. Thats the only one throwing me really. Have you any idea if the mod is free or a paid one so I know where to look? Cheers.

I am setting a site up for a clothing shop. I have created the Product Option Size and have it assigned to my products. I dont really get the options if somebody could explain. Whats the Add/Subtract. Also this is going to effect stock if I have 2 Smalls, 3 Large etc. How can I go about showing this?

Anybody know why this is happening. Its the same with the demo on this site

Yes I have modified the cart.tpl and the calls are in the file but they do not show up. This is just the mailing list and categories. The product search does appear.

Hi guys and gals. Fairly new to this script but think its fantastic. I have managed to set it up and configure it and am templating it as we speak. But when it came to testing I came across a few questions I would like answered. Sorry if they have been asked before. Wanted to have 1 topic instead of loads. Postage I know that postage is worked out by weight but is it possible to add some sort of markup on top as some money could be made on postage. We are not interested in this but would just like to know if it is possible for future products. Site Documents Can a site document be added through the script but not be added to the sitedocs section of the script. For example an about page. I always feel the items at the bottom of sites should just be disclaimers. Also can a contact page be created with a contact form etc. Sub Categories Can sub categories actually be added to the menu as a javascript drop down or something. Secure Server Address I tried setting this up but it broke my script and I had to use the editconf file to restore the script. My store is installed in the root directory here http://www.ultimatebikegear.co.uk and the secure server is https://web29.secure-secure.co.uk/ultimatebikegear.co.uk/. What should I put in the section above the absolute secure url. Cheers for any help people.
