Be not afraid.... It's fairly simple.

Always backup your files before making any changes!

1. Open - skins\your skin\styleTemplates\global\index.tpl in your NotePad, add the following code before </body> (as Convict said):

CODE<div class='txtCopyright'>Copyright YOUR SITE/NAME</div>

2. Open - skins\your skin\styleTemplates\global\cart.tpl in your NotePad, add the following code before </body> (as Convict said):

CODE<div class='txtCopyright'>Copyright YOUR SITE/NAME</div>

hi meow meow i am having a problem still i got the copyright figured out its the color i cant figure out please help on this all i get is gray color i want a color that will be visable with the color of the forum background here thanks

i need to have someone give me a code to change the color of the copyright now its just gray and cant really be seen very easy i would like to change the color to a color that can look good if you want to see what i mean please do so the store is here http://www.cmsmallengines.net i also want to have a customer comment section on a different site altogether but dont know what to do there does anyone have any suggestions on that as well what color would be a good color for the copyright i know i did it very well cause i didnt have any problems but anyway i have the system was backed up before i made that change so i covered there i appreciate anyones help on the color question and the customer comments section question as well

Hi, thanks for the nice tutorial. But I realise that when I go to "View Basket", the copyrite link disappear. And all through the checkout process the copyright link is not there.

Do I need to add it on another file? Is it the "Viewcart.tpl" file? Thanks.

You need to add it to cart.tpl aswell now viewcart.tpl

According to the official announcement, upgrading from 3.0.14 to .15 is optional - you don't have to do it unless one of the issues that were fixed affects your store.

However, using the changelog option to upgrade your store is relatively easy, even with a lot of mods installed. It's really just adding 1 more mod to the mix.

If you want to do the upgrade, but really don't want to do it yourself, there are several people who would be willing to do it for you for a small fee. Check over at the .org site for that.

Looking good, lots of products to browse thru. Just some info;

1) When I go to the Briggs and Stratton category, the main table gets too wide and overlap under the right-side boxes (Featured Products, Were Verified....). This happens in Firefox.

2) In Internet Explorer, it just pushes the right side categories below, so its way at the bottom of the page.

The main culprit is your description in the NEEDLE KIT part, you have

"Briggs 398188 Needle Seat Fits Models Briggs Stratton 83412,90700,91700,99700,1007…"

The last bunch of numbers are treated as one word since there is no space. Put a space after the comma, this should help a lot.

i am not that good at programming so thats when i ask for help is it necessary to upgrade the 3.0.14 version or is it optional at this time ? and if it needs to be upgraded how do i go about in doing this without hurting any of the files and such not thats already there since i have tons of stuff in the cart already i dont want to lose any of these items by upgrading please if you dont mind letting me know about this thanks

usually you would hire a graphic designer, but i did mine myself (i do have quite some experience though)

The files are images and they reside in your skins/your skin/styleImages/backgrounds folder. You can either download the ones on your server by FTP, edit and upload it or make your own. In the case of Legend skin, make a new image that is 756 X 116 px, put your grass and lawnmower images in it, name it topHeader.jpg and overwrite the original image. How you make your image is a topic for another forum. I use Photoshop but you can use any good graphics editor.
