Guest Posted August 18, 2005 Share Posted August 18, 2005 Hi Im a newbie to cubecart and have downloaded and succesfully installed cobecart 3.0.1. I have also downloaded the upgrade package to 3.0.2. Firstly, what I can't understand is how to upgrade. In the zip file it has the readme guide for 'Upgrading from 3.0.1 to 3.0.2' It says to: Upload every file to the server replacing your existing ones excluding: includes/global.inc.php install/ language/;).inc.php (If they have been modified) Does this mean all the 3.0.2 complete files in the upload folder? and what are the upgrade.php's in the scripts folder for and which do I use? 3.0.0-3.0.1 - alpha-alpha2 - beta-final? What about any files that have been altered like the login, lost password.php? Secondly, are the hacks and modules that are available for download compatable with 3.01/3.0.2 or do some only work in version2? Guest EverythingWeb Posted August 18, 2005 Share Posted August 18, 2005 Voddie, There are no Database changes between 3.0.1 and 3.0.2 so there are no scripts to run from the upgrade folder. Just upload the files, excluding the ones you shouldn't, and you're away Mods will be compatible between 3.0.1 and 3.0.2 - there are no major changes.
