Hello Folks,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if paypal support other currencies than US, i was thinking of NOK. I only get this error when i try to pay in NOK with paypal:

"This recipient does not accept payments denominated in NOK. Please contact the seller and ask him to update his payment receiving preferences to accept this currency."

I dont know where i can change the this, i went under the link "Payment Receiving Preferences" and changed this:

Block payments sent to me in a currency I do not hold

to: No, accept them and convert them to U.S. Dollars

Does anyone know whats wrong??

Hi,

As far as i know i think it does. I bought something from Australia and i was able to pay the amount in australian currency. When u go to pay, it gives a list of all the currencies. As paypal is worldwide it would have to support those currencies.

Make sure you set up this correctly.

1. Go to PayPal account

2. Click on Profile

3. Then Payment Receiving Preferences

4. Check radio button "No, accept them and convert them to U.S. Dollars"

That's it.

Hope it helps.

Same problem here also.

Upgraded my usual account to a "Premier Account" just now, and made the changes posted by dragon2000gh.

Anyone contacted paypal about this yet?

Hi all

I have received the same problem. When I try to do the real test on the shopping cart. The following message appeared.

"This recipient does not accept payments denominated in RM. Please contact the seller and ask him to update his payment receiving preferences to accept this currency."

I log into the profile and change the website payment reference to the following.

"No, accept them and convert them to US Dollar"

I try again it still appear the same message.

Can anyone help.

Regards,
