roban
It is my understanding if you already have a certificate on your server you don't have to do anything with Cube Cart. I have a certificate with GeoTrust and it means that I am switched to a permanent IP address on my server where all transactions take place. And you are correct about the directory. It is public_html.
kinetic
when you got our SSL cert what did you supply the trust authority as your secure URL? your FQDN? https://secure.yoursite.com? https://www.yoursite.com? https://lockedup.yoursite.com? https://yoursite.com? depending on whether you are pointing at a subdomain or whether a root domain like www.yoursite.com or http://yoursite.com your cube cart install needs to know where the secure root is I set all my certs to run under root domain www.mysite.com so my path and secure url are easy to set
