Guest explido Posted August 24, 2005 Share Posted August 24, 2005 Hello! I try to configure CubeCart for the German tax system, which is really simple. We've got to taxes: 16% VAT and 7% reduced VAT. In the admin category "store config" / "Taxes", I choosed the country "Germany" in the box "Apply Tax ONLY the following area". Now I've got the following problem: If a new user / customer (unregistred) put some products in his cart, there is no tax information shown ("N/A" is shown). What can I do? How can I tell CubeCart that an unregistred user/customer is from Germany? Or does it only work, if the user registers. But that would be a bad solution. What do I have to do if I want to configure taxes for other countries? Hope to hear from you soon. And thank you very much in advance. Best wishes from Germany, b.o.
