Guest fox
Hi folks! I didn't figure out how the cubecart3 tax system works - maybe we have a much different tax system in austria - or I simply didn't find some buttons... ;-) In Store Config / Taxes i see the following: "Apply Tax ONLY the following area:" WHY only one area??? I need to include taxes for all customers in the European Union, EXEPT companies with a valid UID (tax id) number outside of Austria. then: "Tax Class Rate (%)" I can add a lot of taxes, but I can't assign them to countries/areas or company/non company customers? In Store Settings / Locale Settings I see "Include tax in prices?" I set it on "Yes". So I guess if I set 12 EUR as price for a product I have 10 EUR net price 2 EUR VAT 12 EUR gross price This should be displayed in the basket-view, unfortunately there is ALWAYS a Tax of 0%, no matter which taxes I entered/assigned to a product. Any ideas? Cubecart seems to be a very nice system, but I can only use it if the tax calculation works absolutly correct (it's horrible if you have an online shop and need to calculate the "real" prices manually after an order...). Thanks!
roban
Do a search for 'taxes' and I am sure you'll get the help you need.

I tried to change the "include taxes" option: admin > store config > admin settings 1. "Include tax in prices:" = No now all prices are taken as "net prices", and the tax is added in the basket. BUT: i want to use "gross prices" for all products (this is common for shops in austria, EXEPT you sell only to companys), AND show the tax.
