Guest mcavallari Posted September 16, 2005 Share Posted September 16, 2005 I am implementing a payment gateway for Verisign's Payflow Pro service and would like to add some error handling associated with the credit card transaction. Specifically, I want to display a message to the end user (customer) stating the reason the credit card transaction failed. For example: Credit Card has expired or Invalid account number or Credit Card Security Code does not Match etc.. Can anyone tell me if this sort of error handling has been done before? If so how would you go about displaying an error message on the screen? For example: After I make the calls to the payment gateway I imediately know if and what error code was received, I'm just not sure how to send this message back to the user on the confirmation (falied) screen (confirmed.php?f=1)?
