Guest Gaijin
I wonder if someone has encountered a similar problem: After CC 3.0.2. installation and some minor graphic changes I created a Japanese language set (shift-jis coding). After translating a couple of the most common expressions and uploading the edited files that what I had been affraid of finally happened: the new double-byte translates came out corrupted. The ISO-code change itself has caused no harm to the CC php code (in contrast with switching to UTF-8, which resulted in totally corrupted page structure). I'm not certain if a: a streamable kanji code filter and converter (mbstring) must be installed / enabled on the US server where my web is hosted or b: the desirable state can be achieved solely with appropriate changes in the CC php code. I'd like to stay stuck to both CC and my current provider. Planning to enlarge the CC language family as well... Thanks.
