Guest Trackie
Hi, I have a hosting provider that runs PHP in a Safe mode. Therefor I cannot use certain commands in the several PHP /MySQL scripts. These are some restrictions I cannot use: require(), include(), file(), readdir() .. etc. How can I modify the scripts so I can use Cubecart corretly. My hosting provider will not change it for me, due to security reasons. cheers, T. P.S. I forgot to mention that I use the latest version of Cubecart. At least the latest one I want to use and is available.
Guest sunshine
Call their Customer Service and ask them to install it for you. Are you positive??!?!?!
Guest EverythingWeb
If your hosting company won't allow their php to run with safe_mode off, then you need to change hosting companies, or wait until CubeCart will work in safe mode. There is a bug in the tracker for CubeCart (as a feature request/bug) to make it work in safe_mode, however development time is primarily spent on stabilising the current releases. Find a hosting company with PHP safe_mode = off! Hope this helps.
